Yeah im really not sure why anyone expected them to come out with new royal blues when they already are selling them at the bomber store. Hell, i bought one last year and was just there a week ago and theres tons still for sale. You want a royal blue? go down to the store to buy them, they will be wearing the royal blues later in the year for one game (maybe the banjo bowl?? or maybe the bud grant appreciation game)

Dear Reebok, i actually don't mind them but i'm wondering why there is no gold at all. I think what it appears is most people on here don't exactly hate them, they are just wondering why there is no gold in them. That's a valid "complaint". We are blue n gold, not just blue. I don't see anyone really complaining about the camo stuff, seems most actually don't mind the camo look, hell some people aren't even complaining about the jersey too much, they are just wondering why they didn't include any gold in them. Valid question and complaint really. The twitter world don't seem to mind them but it sounds like most would like to know why they completely ignored our colour scheme.

bombers obviously aren't too impressed with the jerseys, wonder how much say they had? NONE? Going on what a few people on here have said regarding the more camo look, gotta wonder if reebok put the kaibosh on what the bombers actually preferred to have. Probably not impressed that it doesn't include the gold colour, they are blue n gold, not argo blue.

I'm not sure they are terrible, it's just not bomber colours at all. You put some gold in there instead of going all blue and they look pretty decent, I don't think they are the worst in the league and they are certainly not the best, minus the lack of gold and the fact they look more like argo jerseys than bomber jerseys, they aren't that bad. I'd love to hear an explanation why they completely ignored the gold though. They are apparently wearing them just once this year and maybe once next year, for a jersey that will be worn maybe twice, whatever really. The royal blues are apparently being worn for a game this year too. I'd understand the "uproar" more so if they were changing to this jersey all the time but they aren't. They will wear them once for sure and maybe once next season.

They aren't terrible actually but they do look like they were meant for the argos. Not going to buy one but they are "nicer" than i expected them to be actually. Just the colours don't exactly scream Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

The only thing i will say is regardless of the story, it don't matter if its a gang member in winnipeg getting gunned down, it don't matter if its' a black guy being gunned down in the states, lol at the word "kid" used to describe a 6'4 305 pound 18 year old but.. regardless, you hear the same stuff, "he was such a good kid, trying to turn his life around" but then the facts come out and it makes you go hmm really.. Well some facts came out.. FACT: this "kid" minutes prior robbed a store with his not very credible witness friend... that's a good kid? a guy trying to turn his life around? BULLCRAP. The other thing i'll say is, as much as some segments of the population may not agree, a cop will not shoot a civilian unless that cop is threatened. Obviously the "kid" did something to provoke the cop, if he didn't, the cop wouldn't have shot him a bunch of times. That's all i have to say... hear the same thing every time in these "cases", it always turns in to a race issue, natives here, blacks down in the states.. it's always the white man shot him but the people never refuse to accept that their "little boy" might have been guilty of doing something to provoke the cop. Nobody knows any real facts as to why the cop shot him but i'd be willing to bet just about anything i got that he had a very very valid reason to do so. Rumours have it the "kid" actually reached in to the cops car to try to grab his gun, well i don't know about anyone else, but that's a big no no and if that's the case, well, it is what it is.

Don't hate the helmet, i'd like it more if they replaced the argo blue with some bomber gold, outside of that though, it looks OK. Not really expecting anything too great, just based on everyone elses that have been revealed, is the helmet the worst? nope, is it the best? nope, is it any worse than any of the others that have been revealed so far? not really, the light blue don't make much sense to me though.

Well, it's not the worst that's for sure, i like the jersey. The helmet? not a huge fan of but... since the redblacks are "lumberjacks" of some kind, or based on lumberjacks, their mascot is one, the plaid actually makes sense.. Don't care for it but it's not the worst one. Our helmet? meh, it ain't so bad, it's not the worst one but really it doesnt make much sense IMO, are we the winnipeg argonauts? the light blue makes no sense, replace that with some gold and maybe they look more like the bombers than the argos or i guess bluegonauts.

"Big" name free agent signing, they probably thought him signing there would want other guys to sign there too, they might have paid too much though and handcuffed themselves in the process.

Perreault is signed for 3 years and will be the number 3 centre for sure, Unless burmi is willing to come back and play the wing on the third line, i don't see the fit for him any more. Lowry?Odell? Klingberg? As a third line? YUck ??, Perreault, Burmi though might put up some points.. more than the lowry,odell,klingberg line would.

Yup, IMO, signing hank was all about name recognition, people know who henry buriss is, I'm not sure Kevin Glenn sells tickets. Henry is more marketable than Glenn, he is a name, he can put his name on things, Glenn, decent qb but if you were to poll a group of casual fans, and said... Glenn or Buriss, most would say Buriss just cuz they have more than likely heard his name before.

Meh, argos pay Ray a bunch of cash and still are pretty good, even with injuries, they are on a roll. It's not about paying Hank, it's about actually recruiting guys to play other spots and quite frankly, the best redblacks have been guys who were on other teams last season or were in the league before, capicotti has been good, walker has been good, can anyone name a guy on that team who wasn't in the league before that has looked good? I can't off the top of my head... That's the problem there, it's not Henry (although he hasn't looked good either).. It's a combination of things... Ray gets paid tons too and the argos are pretty decent themselves so i don't buy the paying hank 450,000 thing is their downfall, their downfall is their lack of scouting, which for an expansion team, i suppose it makes some sense. Although they had a year in advance to scout guys so one would assume they would be able to find a couple gems, have they? I can't think of any.

Considering most offences look pretty bad, including sasks who didn't score a td for 2 or 3 games up until the last second of the 3rd quarter against montreal, I'd say above average. We are scoring points, we are putting up points, don't we lead the league in points scored? That has to mean something. I'm not really qualified to go on and on about the play calling and i don't think anyone really is, we aren't in the huddle so we really have no clue at all, wish people would stop pretending they do, but... just based on points scored, lack of 2 and outs, all that stuff and based on what other teams have done so far or havent done, you have teams who haven't scored offensive touchdowns in 2 or 3 straight games so we are above average.

Great Blocks on that return, any of us on this forum could have ran that one back... got all the blocks he needed really. Not saying it wasn't a HOLY **** moment but... carter basically just ran the ball, didn't do much on his own to make guys miss.
