Pro Tip: on a hot summer day... don't wear a t-shirt underneath... the "breathy-ness" (couldn't think of a better word) of football jerseys make them very comfortable to wear on a hot day...

Not uncommon for casual fans to like "fan-favourite" players over actual good players... I remember the casual fan outrage when we released Jason Vega last year... good player but he certainly didn't live up to the contract he had... Greg Peach... seems like a nice guy, good leader, probably a good locker room guy... but all that means nothing if you can't play...

Simple answer... it depends on how well our prospects develop... we have one of the best group of prospects in league... if a few of them turn out to be bonafide superstars, then we will be contenders in the next 3-4 years...

I think the point is being missed by some people... the point that some people like lebird and Tburg are making is simple... if the team didn't sign Harris, Smith, or Dressler, continued to wear our current navy blue and gold jerseys (or even wore the camo Argo jerseys once)... but then went 14-4 this season and won the grey cup... no one would care about that other stuff...

Cdn DT with his skill set doesn't sit unsigned for long... what's the deal with Matt Norman?... Assessing a trade is a continuously on-going battle... generally we will be skewed to believe we won the trade... that being said, the addition by subtraction of getting rid of Kane alone makes this an excellent trade... the only way I see it turning in Buffalo's favour is if Kane starts to become a 40 goal scorer... and even in that case, still hard to say we didn't benefit greatly by getting rid of him b/c he was never going to reach that potential here...

My favourite joke from this Tor/Ott trade... which team is trying to tank more, Tor for getting rid of Phaneuf or Ott for picking up Phaneuf?
