While my memory is not as good as it use to be - didn't Jones do the same thing last year as well? I seem to remember him making multiple roster changes for just about every game last year also. What a sad commentary on the franchaise in Edmonton - once a proud franchaise and the hated empire throughout the league to bottom feeder status.

He did and next will be some questionable "purges" from the roster...before they hopefully let him go and this is the last the CFL sees of this clown.

RE: Salima, if the plan all along is to start a CDN in that position, why even bring americans in at that spot? Is CDN talent at the position that lacking, or is it simply an attempt to push other players in TC?

I think BO is the given starter no question...he goes down for the season or 10 games I think they try Augustine and see how he lasts in that role BUT if he hits the wall and just can't carry the load then it's next guy up no matter the nationality and do a rotation with another back, Greg seems to be that guy they maybe want to get more of a look at.

I liked how Salima ran in pre season but they will generally go with a proven commodity.

Honestly I think the guy is probably just not bringing enough. Couple big catches but not impressed with his results in the endzone personally.  Kenny Lawler he ain't.

Very few are Kenny but I get what you are saying.  He is a big man and can at times lumber.  Maybe he isn't running the routes correctly, maybe too slow or maybe in the last game Zach didn't have enough time for the big man to get open.  I don't know if Gary Peters was on him all game but he is a very good DB and can shut guys down.

when Kenny comes back no doubt in my Agudosi is a rotational dude.

we don't seem to post him up in the end zone when a smaller DB is on him.  He is still learning the game though and if he has a good attitude about accepting coaching I think he can play an important role in our offense.

  4. From Jeff Hamilton:

The CFL once again shows how spineless it is by giving Chris Edwards a "maximum fine" rather than a suspension for his gutless stunt against Alouettes receiver Austin Mack, where Edwards pretended to shake his hand before delivering a sucker shove. Same guy who swung at a fan.

That was a terrible display of unsportsmanlike conduct.  Hamilton should suspend him.
