  1. I've been with Rogers for many years, but only because the only other option at the time was Telus, and I tried them and their network and service sucked even harder than Rogers, if that's possible. I should look at switching again. Anyone who poops on the CFL poops on me. And I don't like being pooped on. You may wish to consider Koodo- we've been with them for 6 years and have had excellent coverage and service when needed. Thanks for the tip. Once the truth is known and it is indeed shown that Rogers is trying to kill the CFL, I am done. No way am I supporting a business that has that kind of attitude. NO WAY. Plus Koodo has really funny commercials. Isn't Koodo just owned by Telus? Telus are a bunch of assholes too, but but not as big as Rogers I suppose. Rogers are basically the devil. Yes, Koodo is owned by Telus, but it is a separate company and has been well ahead of Telus in customer service for years. Four years ago, they sold us a phone which did not work in rural areas. When we contacted them, a manager called me back the next morning, ordered that a proper phone be sent to us, told us to keep the old one at no charge and gave us a month's free service for our trouble. Fedex delivered the new phone two days later. Can't get any better than that.

  3. Does this mean the supplemental draft is rated R? It says going hard not getting hard..... As Mae West said,"A hard man is good to find."

  5. I would be very happy with Waggoner. With Chapman, not so much.
  6. Okay, so Rogers is a bigger villain than any of us had imagined. Sad to think that there are those who are so, well, evil as to try to kill off a whole league with such a storied history for convenience or spite. Thanks, Bluto and I can only imagine your distress, anger and sadness.
  7. The fact that there is no crying in baseball ruined it for me. Do you suppose that if they make all home run hitter do a silly walk around the bases (a la Monty Python) it would make the game more watchable?
  8. I just hope it wasn't Wade. No one needs to see that. For Wade, dropping his pants would be a matter of a couple of inches. He has to roll his socks down to pee.
  9. I believe it to be impossible to ruin baseball.
  10. Too late. We shot our Waud.
  11. I am a fan of baseball but in the past few years I find I can only stomach a few innings and then I can't take it anymore. Just not enough action. That's the beauty of baseball. You have time to think about the game. And think, and think and think and think....then you fall alseep.
  12. And rightfully so. Rogers has built his empire by being aggressive but also by ignoring customers once they were lured on board. They have been rated the worst telecom company for customer service for several years in a row. This has been like an infected tooth for the CFL that has finally been pulled, but like dentistry, not without pain.
  13. My first reaction was "WTF is Walters thinking?" but on second consideration, Greaves has been serviceable but not irreplaceable, so if we have a replacement who is as good or better as well as a good backup, lets trade for what we need. It seems to be coming down to what Goossen and Neufeld can bring to the table.
  14. A lot of contradictions in this guy's scouting report, so I am not going to get too excited.
  15. Good speed, great tackling form and hits a ton- would make a very good free safety in the CFL.
  16. As regards drafting Waud, if Walters has reason to believe that Bilukidi or Mulumba(?) will shake loose in the not too distant future, then drafting a receiver makes sense.
  17. I'm sure if I should add "again" or "as usual" to this.
  18. Forum does have an ignore function: Go to your profile (where it says your username in the upper right) Click on My Settings Then 'Ignore Preferences' on the left hand side You can manage who you ignore there (add / remove from your ignore list). You can also choose to ignore signatures, posts, messages, etc. The only caveat is you cannot ignore people in the admin and moderator groups. Does this work for spouses? Only if you have them sign up to the site, then do all of your communication through PMs. Or I could open a special new section where you can post back and forth to ignore each other but everyone else gets to read your dirty laundry. Sounds promising. I will try to make such arrangements as soon as they release me from the Intensive Care Unit following broaching the subject with She Who Will Be Obeyed.
  19. A pass-rusher end?

  21. Sorry, can't see a CFL player developing an NHL attitude with the amount of money they are paid and the competition they face keeping a job. Apples to oranges. Money has little to do with stupidity.
  22. Stoopid is as stoopid does.
  23. And the Bombers were not alone in downgrading Durant. A veteran team with a strong leadership core would help but as the Jets' experience with Kane shows, you can lead a horse to water etc, etc.
  24. He's built like a MLB and he sure as heck sounds like a tackling machine.
  25. No guarantees, but a couple of years ought to give a QB a fighting chance to get to know the system, pick up reads and work on deficiencies enough to compete with better and longer coached US quarterbacks.
