Just keep on underestimating this team. That D is playing some damned good football the back half of this year. Ask the Riders how bad mouthing the Bombers OL went for them.
I love being the underdog.
I thought that I heard on the radio yesterday that the Bombers were favoured by 4 1/2 - 5 points.

I can ignore the rebel, but I've done enough of my own research on suzuki, and the foundation (among many other foundations) and they are no saints. You'll note in the article they don't deny owning the real estate, they are just arguing it's not an oil company.
So what about the claim from David recently that he owns a home in Australia (check out some publishing from the guardian). That would be ironic.
And no answers from him on how much money the foundation gets from US interests... (which is pretty significant)Citations? This should really be moved to another forum.

I agree on the path, but a hard path didn't stop us in 1984. We walked into the Lions Den and kicked their butts. As long as the Bombers keep building competitive teams with a winning attitude, every year the path should be there for us to take the Cup.
There is a strong element of luck/happenstance/fate involved in most championships. You can see that in the last two Cup games, where unlikely sets of circumstances led to Ottawa and Toronto getting their acts together in the last few games and then their opposition crapping out in The Big Games.

Where is the validation that this is bogus? It's a given he owns homes in Vancouver, owns a share of other properties (according to land title records) and according to the guardian admitted owning a house in Australia.
Sure burns a lot of carbon flying halfway around the world...
But anyway... BACK TO KICKING THE STAMPS ASS!
The allegations were made by the aforementioned Ezra Levant with no proof and repeated by that bastion of journalistic integrity, the Toronto Sun.

They would not have had that 32 yard romp that bridge did early...hence they would have had zero momentum early...
Yup. If all you have is the legs of your QB for offence, you're scrooged, but the Rider fans will not acknowledge this. "There are none so blind as those who will not see".

This may be the easiest path to the Grey Cup game and victory there than has been possible for years, maybe decades. The Bombers have come together in all three phases of the game and all the other teams with the possible exception of the TiCats have struggled. Now or wait another 28 years, folks.

So Suzuki doesn't fly anywhere anymore ?
I'm sure that Suzuki flies, but the allegation that he has three houses is pure baloney. He would have a hard time traveling to international or national conferences if he did not.

LOL - like David Suzuki shaming everyone for not living the way he says you should, before he jets off to one of his four houses.
That is BS propagated by Ezra Levant (the Canadian version of Fox "News") and has been proven false years ago. Levant has been fired for spreading this crap and is no longer employable by any credible news service.

I think I should be hired as a ninth ref, with my only job being to drool at the cheerleaders...
Fixed that for you.

How Drew Wolitarsky became a Bomber:

A really great read. Wolitarsky comes across as humble and grateful for the chance to play a game he loves. He does look a lot like Matthew McConaghy is the movie "Reign of Fire", though.

O'Shea is being cryptic about Santos-Knox's availability. He apparently did not practice yesterday but O'Shea said he might do so today, so the "faint hope" clause is in effect.

yeah..cheeped out with the quality of the seats..I see many being replaced due to damage or being broken after the winter/offseason...not as big either...and the pitch/slope of seating area is way less...putting you further from the field...and it is a big reason why the crowd noise is more disruptive at IGF...it is right on top of you and you almost actually feel it and it is way more intimidating..and this is from out of players and coaches mouths I have spoken to about it..
You talk about the noise at IGF as if its a bad thing......

Our cover teams have to be a lot better than they were last Sunday.
There is always room for improvement, but the Riders have had excellent return teams all year and the Bombers did reasonably well. I cannot see that Calgary's special teams are better.

I think we're playing safer on ST in all facets because we are a better team on offense and defense. Honestly doubt we'll see any tricks now
Agreed. I cannot see the Bombers doing anything different than what got them here.

Calgary is not the team of the past few years. Their O-line and D-line are both suspect as is the rest of the team to a lesser extent. As far as the Stamps being favoured, so were the Riders last Sunday. I say the Bombers should go right at them and not be intimidated.
-
But what of Santos-Knox?

I know the die-hard, old-schoolers hate this idea... but if there's a 10th team, the ratio needs to be adjusted...
With the AAF set to raid the CFL, the league will have a hard time signing good import talent. This would be a bad time for expansion but if all teams are crappy, it would average out in competitiveness, I guess.

Did you read my earlier post on this very thread... the one where I congratulated everyone here without a single excuse?
And while there are no doubt angry fans on RF... there is an entire thread there congratulating the Bombers on their win.
When I peeked yesterday at that thread, there were damned few congratulations and a lot of hand-wringing and gnashing of teeth.

I do not expect Lankford to be much more than a decoy, but it would be nice to be mistaken. Once the Calgary DBs realize that Lankford is not much of a threat unless the ball is gently delivered into his arms, his usefulness will be greatly diminished.
