If we can only keep one, I'd keep Schoen over Brady O. Some team that is lacking in Cdn talent is likely to pay Brady the big bucks to kill two birds with one signing.

It's a name hire. Somehow thinking the magic of the past will somehow transfer to the present.

Man you make a lot of excuses for everyone. Bomber have been a good team for a lot of years,  but you can't just sit on your ass and expect it to continue. They gambled hard on rolling with an aging roster last season, it almost paid off but in the end did not. They can't do that again. Need a serious infusion of talented impactful youth in a lotnof areas or we will just watch it slip further and further away. 

When healthy we are far and away the better team. Montreal was red hot and extremely healthy. We dressed 3 receivers that couldn't make near the impact they would have if they were healthy. And then on top of that we turned the ball over in key situations and our defensive game plan was bad.
It ******* sucks but looking forward to next year.

I’m talking about guys like Nate Givhan, who were in camp last year … or Tyrique McGhee/Kelvin McKnight who get signed 87 times but aren’t good enough to play.
It’s becoming habitual and I don’t love it. We’re signing gap fillers instead of guys who can be real players because we seemingly have no urgency to build and develop depth, which must be driving Walters nuts 

Agree with this but we definitely need more rotation on the Dline to keep him fresh.  DEs can play for a long time but can't play every snap.

You can't argue anything in the future of any quarterback at all with any evidence.
Depth is important.  Using the whole roster is important for sure.  The past two years it's been kind of a "these are our day 1 guys" and we'll only deviate from this group if a limb is amputated.
Montreal dominated the playoffs with a DB crew they basically built during the season, much like our team built a DB crew in 2019.
We helped them significantly by playing 3 receivers who basically couldn't move.

All true but we also saw in Calgary that moving on to the hot hand young guy doesn't always work out. 
I'd argue Collaros was never steady. He's a gunner, wants to attack. That will lead to INTs and TDs.

I don't disagree that Brown could be a very good QB. I'm just not willing to eliminate the potential that he fizzles out either. He could be the next Reilly or Zac Collaros, but for every one of those guys we also get the Arbuckle's, Evans, and Franklins. In a perfect world we keep Brown, increase his playing time and see if he sustains success. In an imperfect world he moves on, we wish him the best, and maybe he comes back to us one day in FA after Collaros rides off into the sunset.

Hey I'm a huge fan of Brown too. My comment wasn't about Brown - it was about Collaros and the narrative that he isn't a big game QB. He has been hamstrung in the big game the last 2 years. It's a big decision to move on from a guy who has gotten us to 4 straight Grey Cups - despite the fact that we have lost the last two in dramatic fashion.

Looking forward to reliving what could have been this season and scrutinizing every little change going into next year.

If they hadn't had to play out of position earlier in the game and that last drive wouldn't have mattered. 
Maybe if Rose was on the roster, Parker wouldn't have come back in after being injured earlier. 
Maybe an extra DE on the roster has the Jeffs that much fresher to make a play earlier in the drive. 
Little things add up, especially in a one score game.
