well sure...but again...we never gave it back with a turnover and even tho we didn't score all TD's..we still got points and kept it at a 2 score lead all game pretty much...and people forget that Ticats were the apparent top defense in league...you have to give them some due even though we smacked them around....and again...it's a 3 phase game, along with a turn over ratio battle and t.o.p thing...both of which we won as well.
The other team is trying too ya know...it seems that some folks think that we should just score TD's at will...I'll take a offence where we rarely turn over the ball and score 28+ points a game on average..and generally win the t.o.p battle...which keeps other teams from scoring any day...and yeah if it's in conjunction with the defense getting us the ball back a lot..even better...it is a team game after all..
I truly think many here would, will and do complain about something incessantly regardless of out come and can never be happy or content...and to be honest in my opinion are a bunch of assbags for it..but whatevs..if it makes you happy...........
We waltzed through playoffs..soundly beat 3 teams on the road to end a 29 year drought and people are complaining on how did it..or didn't do it...or could of..or should of did it better...give your collective heads a shake man

One thing I've come to realize about Collaros is that he throws the ball to the receivers sweet spot away from the coverage. The receiver needs only shield the ball and it generally drops into his arms. The DB never seems in position to make a play of the ball. Very accurate passer.

Simple fact is, everyone played out of their minds on Sunday.

I think my favorite part of the entire game was the Hansen special teams hit. Dear lord. He torpedoes the guy blocking him into the returner for a double ti-cat annihilation. It was a beautiful thing. You could HEAR that hit.

Yeah, I'm well known as a Matt Nichols supporter and I'll go to bat for him all day, but we were saying last night that there were a couple plays where the pocket collapsed and in that situation, Nichols would eat the sack or throw it away, but Collaros was able to navigate the pressure while keeping his eyes downfield the entire time, and then find a target 10-15 yards down. That's not something I'm sure Nichols could or would do...

I've always like Matt Nichols play here for the most part.
But i'm starting to Think we need to sign Collaros instead of Matt nichols because he has better pocket pressence and can roll out and still throw downfield vs throwing it away. 
My concern is his ability to stay healthy and whether or not we can Keep Strevler as well for that 1-2 punch.  Mcquire will hopefully turn into a lights out QB in the future.
But do we go with Masoli, Arcbuckle if given the chance or do you go with who you know you got?
 

agreed...was same script...the only thing I think that was different tho was Zack in the pocket...his pocket presence and ability to move around in it to make the deeper shots when needed...not sure Nichols would have been able to do that on all the occasions Collaros did...but guess we will never know...and for now....who cares hahaha

Got home from celebrating at about 1:30...still trying to wrap my head around a lot of stuff. Had a fun time reading through most of this thread. I'll likely post a lot of different thoughts in various threads, but wanted to quickly mention just how happy I am for everyone who was around the early days of OurBombers.com, CFZone.com and all the other early ones. We're the true diehards...the hardest of hardcore. As I said in a different thread..He really came on and I think we have discovered Sayles 2.0...guy had a great play-offs and yup...he batted that ball outta Jone's hands

I will say the same thing about ZC as I said when he was our backup because my opinion hasn't altered:
The guy is a winner and has a set of brass ones. He is fun to watch and a deadly improviser, but his courage and play style will get him hurt and his throwing motion will lead to fumbles. But I'd have this guy leading the team any Sunday.

So are we willing to give up that 1st rounder to extend Zach???  
He escaped the pocket and extended a few plays tonight that only he (and not Nichols) could do? 
I'm willing to keep him around for the 1st rounder....
