I'm a realist. This team hasn't delivered a championship in 28 years. The current staff hasn't even delivered a playoff win in 4 and likely 5 seasons. I get that it's probably less aggravating to be naive about the state of the team and blissfully float along thinking success is merely a corner away. But the track record of this club, management, and coaching staff say otherwise.

The sanctimonious disregard for others opinions who don't share your pie in the sky drug induced vision of our crappy performance this year is overwhelming.

DeVone Claybrooks already has a far better resume as a coach than MOS did when we hired him.

Bad news for the Nichols haters: Streveler looked pretty bad too. Let me just back off a little and say before I continue that Nichols had a terrible game and his 2 pick 6's were clearly the difference. But Streveler tossed a pick, looked deer in headlights, and had one good drive in half a game. He's not the answer. This is definitely a coaching and personnel problem. I don't know who should start against Montreal... but I have a really bad feeling that either option will not drive much in the way of results. Montreal appears to have found confidence and a spark, while our team is drowning. I just don't think you can go back to Streveler against the Als after his total inability to move the offence in the 2nd half. He had 1 good drive and then had the same problems Nichols had: no one was open. The scheme was terrible. Nichols has to try and stop forcing things and I think he remains our best chance to win... but has to cool his jets. He's clearly fighting it hard and trying too hard. If we lose against Montreal all bets are off for missing the playoffs.

I cant be a hypocrite here. I was calling for Willy's head and the lack of patience here is understandable. Only a championship will solve it. Even then people like me won't just magically forget the last 28 years... So there's that. I just hope we can have a solid game tomorrow. Being swept in ldc bb series is the last thing we need for our mental health.

The dumbest thing we can do is to hand the keys over to a 1st year raw kid like Streveler. Even if Nichols keeps playing average/poorly, you at best split their play time. Use Streveler as a change of pace unless he totally outplays Nichols, then leave him in. Let's not ruin another QB with our **** receivers and OC.

I don't know who you're trying to convince here, me or yourself. The idea you think it's derogatory to Bomber fans is puzzling. The fans love it. Sponsors love it. This is the 15th Banjo Bowl, it's building its own history and tradition. It's going nowhere. The fact that the rider fans cry about it makes it all the better. Jesus, I don't know what Nichols did to you to hate him so much but yeah, he led our team to 2 straight double digit win seasons where our offence was consistently the highest scoring O in the league for those 2 seasons. He's having a bad season and maybe he will decline and this will be it for him. But we don't know that yet.

wtf do you expect, seriously? We've lost 13 of the last 14 labour day games. Haven't won a championship in nearly 30 years. Haven't won a playoff game since.. what, 2011? In a 9 team league. Give your head a shake before you start wagging your finger at fans who don't like mediocrity.
