Well.. we've had an atrocious defense for 5 years now so...it's a good place to start

I have no idea what you're talking about. I've probably posted 3 times before this game at least that I'd be ok with a change at QB and Nichols has had a poor season. I've also been very critical of this team almost all year. I wonder what you're reading to be honest.

I have no issue with it. I've stated it numerous times and even before this game. I would be totally fine to see what Streveler has. Matt has had a poor season. But I'm also focused on our idiot head coach, our terrible D and terrible D coordinator, and our inconsistent play calling that Lapo has to own. Not to mention our D which collapses by routine every week in the 2nd half, and has been doing so for 5 years (just in case you drink enough KoolAid served by a couple posters who think its an offence problem due to output)

Ah yes, the last resort of the blow hard. "I know more than you". btw this D hasn't been good enough for what, 5 years now? Yep. This is difficult problem hey? Real vexing. The difference between us right now is I'm willing to see what Streveler will do, and you keep harping on Nichols like he's our only problem.

Well, I'm going to BBQ some potatoes and try and put this loss behind me. In a sad way I sort of expect to be disappointed by this crap club. The last time I was able to enjoy a Grey Cup I was 10. I'll be 40 in a couple years. ****. When you write it out like that it's really something else. We are cursed. Oh this thread? Yeah. MOS is a bad coach, no kidding. I'm willing to guarantee if we make the playoffs we're out 1 and done. 5 years of not a single playoff win and you'll surely find idiots defending this guy.

ok lets cool the jets about that late 4th quarter pick. the 1st one is on the receiver who volleyball tipped it to the Riders. He had a bad game, no doubt. I also don't doubt if the receivers did their jobs we would be a in different place. I'm willing to concede Nichols had a game. But the Nichols hate club is trying to pretend the D was good. I won't abide it.

And you want to blame Nichols who should have built up a bigger lead but his receivers couldn't hang on to their passes to save their lives.

I'd be all for Streveler starting the BB. But that doesn't fix the D or bad coaching. The smiling idiot who is our head coach is the one who is in charge of the decision making. He's priority #1 to replace. Hall being 2nd.

Hold the lead? Is this a serious question? The O delivered a lead in the 2nd half of the game, and we're in the lead into the 4th. Cmon.

The oversimplification of this post is breathtaking. Yes, his late game pick was bad. It was Drew Willy Banjo Bowl bad. But we we're quite a long shot to win anyways at that point. If you feel good about this teams D, I don't know what to tell you. Again, another 2nd half collapse. Totally unreliable secondary. If you think Streveler is going to pass to himself and not drop his own throws, ok sure. But this team is need of a lot more than a simple QB change.

Between the play calls, our receivers dropping the ball when they rarely got open, and Nichols playing like a deer in headlights in the 4th... I am overwhelmed with how bad the O played in the game.

Terrible throw at the end by Nichols. Rattled. This team lost the game when they had to rely on the D to hold a lead in the 2nd half. Too many dropped balls, special teams was brutal, and as the game wore on Nichols got tighter and tighter. Brutal. Can't wait for our smiling idiot head coach to be gone.

Does any other d collapse like this every game? Jesus

The second half has been really bad. Saskatchewan is moving the ball and of those well over 200 yards most of it was in the third quarter. Another second-half Collapse by the D no matter how you want to put makeup or lipstick on that pig

The whole point is to win the championship. I get that you're trying to focus on the short-term, but ignoring the long-term suffering of fans who have been watching this team stink for nearly three decades is really obnoxious.
