In a July 12], 2007 game against the Calgary Stampeders, while enjoying a second straight solid start, Bishop fractured his distal radius while being tackled on a run to the Stampeders' one-yard line and was scheduled to miss 6–8 weeks of the season.[9]
The Argonauts went 0–6 with Bishop out of the lineup; however after his return, the Argonauts went 9–1 and finished in first place in the CFL's Eastern Division. He finished the 2007 regular season with 2,920 passing yards, 22 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

People like to **** on Bishop but 2007 he was looking at 4.6K yards and 35 tds projected.  When he came into the shitshow that was Winnipeg in 2009 I'll agree he didn't play particularly well... but coming in to that offense with no training camp and the team being a complete gongshow... I think he acquitted himself relatively well.

Don't get me wrong - the guy was no hall of famer, but I think he was unfairly maligned as terrible

Why is nobody talking about Colin Kapernick... experienced QB, just needs to learn the Canadian game... cmon get'er done!

To be fair, he wasn't willing to take a 4 million dollar paycut to fight for a backup position when he currently had a starting position.
Denver offer was pre-2016 after he had a couple of rough years (2014/2015), they were looking to trade with SF for Kapernick but wanted him to cut his salary and compete to be the starter.  Logically it made more sense for Kapernick to stay with SF if he thought he could have a comeback year (which he did) in the starter role.  The fact he wasn't signed in 2017/2018 given the QB situation for a number of teams is well... his lawsuit is exceedingly reasonable.
My post was a joke, Kapernick probably can't afford to play in the CFL because of his lawsuit - can't argue that teams are colluding to not sign him if he's signed a contract that precludes him from playing in the NFL.

Yeh I was gonna say - the ball definitely wasn't thrown pretty but it wasn't THAT slow...it went a pretty good distance deflected off the guys hand.

Yeh he said he was working on punting styles with Koch (NFL Punter).  These guys are essentially innovating a completely new punting style... a comparison would be to pitchers in Baseball.  What 99% of punters currently do is throw fastballs on every pitch (tight spiral for maximum distance/hang time) - Koch and Medlock are adding knuckles and curveballs to the mix and it's doing wonderful things to their net yards (also IMO it's increasing the likelyhood of punts not being caught/being fumbled in the air)

Gotta say... the stats didn't tell the story for Davis' performance
Both interceptions were on his receivers imo
the second was obviously a fluke that the receiver should have caught (you can argue he underthrew the ball but with how open his receiver was it was hard for the db to turn)
The first looked like his receiver stopped coming back to the ball on a scramble play after the ball was thrown.... receiver standing still with the db running past for the pick....

Wasn't the one pick in the Ottawa game a tipped ball and the one in Toronto was an underthrow because he got hit as he released?

To be fair... Nichols has ran 7 times this year and averaged 5.1 yards per carry.  The Nichols "nobody expects a turtle to run" draw play has been effective all year long (the non-score was probably the worst showing of the play yet.

I had a buddy who made a fuckton of money on Nortel...  After the big crash he basically gambled call options from the bottom of the dip in 2002 until it skyrocketed in 2004... decided that was probably the end of the good times and starting buying puts all the way to 2008 when the premiums started getting too expensive (because everyone and their dog were expecting the company to go bankrupt)

All in he took 1000$ and turned it into something like 300,000$ buying nothing but Nortel over 6 years...

It was actually the PERFECT game for that to happen as well... Toronto not actually good enough to come back and serve the lesson with a loss, but they put up enough yards/pts in the half to ALMOST (if not for the goal line stand) make a game out of a blowout.
I'm sure our defense has seen these games and the embarrassment of almost making the TO offense look good when they took their foot off will hopefully keep it from happening again.
