  1. I don't like this at all.   The bombers passing game even with Nichols has been friggen pathetic.   We had two awesome receivers in Adams and Matthews.    Maybe design an offence that targets both of these receivers effectively and hey maybe the passing numbers might get better.   I remember in training camp Nichols was raving about Matthews and Adams.   I agree with Doug Brown, this will come back to bite us.

A very good article indeed.   I'm of the opinion this wasn't intentional, as Harris does seem very contrite and apologetic.   The fact that the head coach and several of his teammates backed him up seems to reinforce this wasn't intentional.   Yes I understand solidarity and such, but if he was a cheat, you think others would be willing to go on a limb to sacrifice their reputation.  That being said, when you live in the limelight,  every action you undertake is scrutinized, and every black mark you encounter enlarged and dissected under a microscope.   That's the pro athlete life.   One bad thing can wipe away 10 good things.   It's unfortunate that this happened to him and everything he has and will do gets marked with an asterisk.

I wouldn't touch Drew Willy with a 10ft pole.  Bridge on the other hand could be interesting.   Neither of them are better than Streveler, but  we do need a 3rd qb in case something happens to Strev and McGuire gets the "Deer in headlights" syndrome.   Anyways the media will continue to speculate until we have confirmation from the Blue Bombers what the injury actually is.    My guess is that it's a separated shoulder and that's at least 4-6 weeks.     Hope Strev is ready.

I agree with the what. I think everyone expected both to play. Gray was with the team last year already and Kongbo is considered to be NFL type material so we (I)  were all drooling over the prospects. To be fair I drooled when Chung joined the team and drooled with tears when I heard he left and I drooled when I realised the team would still roll. I think I drool too much.

I think they are selling bibs with the Walby burger.  You can buy one for your problem...

I’m wondering to myself - if the Bombers are in first place, won more games than any other team, but there is such pointed anger to not playing the way a fan envisions, is it the Bombers fault? If it’s so hard to like and appreciate the current standings, why not pick a team that suits a fans expectations better....

Exactly.   Although I believe many of us are frustrated and want to see our Grey Cup drought end asap.

  6. After that pitiful performance against the Argos and the TiCats, I'm expecting a fire to be lit under their collective @$$!

The defence needs to start playing defence.  Cover the flats, actually make a STOP on a 2nd and long for a change.   In other words, BE MENTALLY STRONG AND PREPARED.

The offence and LaPo needs to establish the run game early and don't stray from it.   Start throwing deep balls to our highest paid receiver, and mix it up with play action.

I could care less if Nichols throws for 200 yds or 400 yds.    Don't turn the ball over and stop playing scared.

Love Harris but definitely don't feel bad for him.  His fumble took at least 3 points off the board and when we needed a first down near the end to close out the game he couldn't get it done.  I know this wont be popular and yes he put up some huge yards.  But I was really looking for him at the end of the game when we were still up by 6 to help the offence stay on the field and close out the game.

Yep like I said earlier, that fumble was the turning point in the game IMO.   We likely score 6 at that point.  Props to Harris for shouldering the blame though.

TSN Radio is stupid. The spot was ridiculous but there is no way that they were going to overturn it. They don't care about the start of the next game when they have a close game. It's not as though you can't just change the channel.

Fair enough...my point (and the radios) was that it was very suspicious how quickly things were handled.   Kim Murphy seemed like he was ready to signal first down before the chains were fully set.

The other issue is that MBT fumbled and one of the OL recovered.  By rule they can’t advance the ball from where MBT lost it unless he recovers it or the Bombers clearly possess it.

Again something doesn't add up.   There's no way that was a first down.  But it's CFL officiating at its finest.

Challenging the spot of the ball almost never works but I have never seen a ball spotted so unfairly before. The ref took the ball and placed it two feet ahead of where the pile ended up. On a fumbled snap no less. It was clearly a terrible spot.

They were talking about this on TSN radio this morning.  Everything about that sequence was rushed.  It clearly looked short on TV.    Nevis was shocked they called it a first down.  The radio guys were saying that MOS should have challenged...  Even if he lost it it could have stemmed the momentum the Argos were gaining.   Tsn radio was speculating the call was rushed was because of the double header.  The CFL wanted this game over quickly so the focus shifts to the ticats - riders game.   Let the conspiracy theories begin!

Is Andrew Harris are only offensive weapon/////...Lapolice needs a lesson in diversification because that was one crappy called game

MOS keeps out Matthews for some unknown reason.   Give Nichols as many friggen weapons on the field .   Adams, Matthews will cause headaches for every defence and will open up others.

Didnt think the reffing was too bad, but I counted 3 calls that Rod Black guessed wrong, two of which were pretty bloody obvious that he was going to be wrong.

The only reason I wished the Raptors lost to force a game 7 was so we wouldnt have to listen to rod black for 3 hours last night.   Oh well great performance by the Blue!  With Matthews coming back our O looks scary good!
