  1. Worth noting that Gaitor is no longer with the team.   Apparently he got upset O'Shea changed his role and he left.

I liked him, but I guess the roles are set.   I hope the Bomber D gets on a hot streak here and shuts down BLM, and then Fajardo, and then Evans.   A GC win still won't save Richie Hall's job!

Thanks for clarifying and my bad for assuming. The stats I listed were Little's, not Scheifele's.

He and Wheeler have been colossally disappointing so far this season. I can't figure it out but neither are playing smart two-way hockey right now, which is bad because they're both leaders on this team.

Yah sorry about the confusion.  I'll provide better context next time.   And couldn't agree with you more!

How has he been playing poorly this season? He's got 5 points in 7GP and his possession numbers are among the best on the team (and were sitting at career highs for him personally). Despite the injury he sustained during the pre-season, he was having a very nice start prior to Tuesday's horrific incident.

    Wan't @captaincanuck12 referencing Sheif?

Yes referencing Schiefs.   His play has considerably regressed since the All-star game of last year.  He may have 7pts in 5 games... but the game against the NJD, he was responsible for losing the puck battle in the first period to a relative no-name player and guess what happened next... the puck ends up in our net!    The fact is that line has been outplayed,  outworked and hemmed in their zone the majority of the time they were on the ice.   He's a -6 this year .     Was -4 against Anaheim , and -1 against NJD.

I still don't understand this about our D. Receivers wide open all over the field. Easy pickings for Bo. All because we don't want to give up the big explosion plays, which we do anyway. Or, Bo just throws underneath our coverage or into the soft spots in our zones and marches the length of the field in 14 plays and chewing up clock. Extremely frustrating style of defense

Not only frustrating but completely ineffective.   We consistently get shredded and yet Hall never adjusts.    It's not ok to give up an explosion play but it happens. It's inexcusable to continue to leave receivers wide open which is what this Bomber defense does game in game out.   I've said it all year and I'll say it again, we have very rarely stopped a 2nd and long all year.

  5. Calgary is a virtual grave yard for the Bombers.  However the 3 times we've played them , we've kept the games close.  Collaros gives us a chance.   He's not going to light it up for 400 yds, but he is very good at spreading the ball around and it forces the Stamps to actually respect our passing game.

Our defense needs to get pressure on BLM and our secondary needs to start playing aggressively.    Stop giving up the wide open flat, and make their receivers work for the ball.

If that wasn't a high stick, I don't know what is. I guess your stick has to be straight up according to who ever made that ruling.

That one is a head-scratcher for sure.  I wonder what the NHL will say about that.  Still the boys pulled it out in the end.  just need to string a few more wins together and be right back in the thick of things
