The desperation is real.

On TSN they said the 2 point conversion was running around I believe 77 percent. Teams are hesitant to go for two but I think once we start seeing more success with the two point conversion and 1 point converts missed. (hello Winnipeg) we'll start to see a shift in mind set when it comes to going for two.

Glenn is one of the best in the business at putting up big numbers.. And finding a way to throw a crucial INT or pick six.

Brohm's problems are.. He doesn't look off his first read. Makes it easy for the defense to read.. He isn't mobile enough (ok he had a 24 yard rushing TD that was hilarious), his release isn't quick enough, and his arm strength is just barely ahead of Alex Brinks. (that isn't a compliment) Mind you he wasn't the only problem tonight but the thing that bothered me is that he wasn't so over whelming terrible enough for Marve to get enough playing time. He was just bad.

I thought the o-line was a hundred times better then it was last season. Funny how good the offense looks when you give your quarterback time to throw the ball and your running back a lane to run through.

What do you think GM's tell players when they're signed? I'm sure EVERY player invited to TC was told they'd have an opportunity to make the roster. So he didn't get enough reps. Big deal.

And it turned out nice again.....at least weather wise....
Shades of bad ole days.....Bomber D scored on in 1st series....
Zach Collaros, RB Holly, and the rest of the Hamilton O, looked sharp....
....as they found enough holes in Bomber D...to fill the Albert Hall.....
Blue D played a ton of zone, not particularly well......
Denmark had a nice bomb from Willy.....
...but most of the night it was 5 yard hooks, curls and slants.....
Bombers need work on kick returns.....
Ditto short yardage situations......
Also avoiding dumb penalties ( Washington, Gibson, Bass)
Gibson did make some plays, though.....
...and K. Bass was working it pretty hard....
Bomber O and D schemes looked pretty....uh,

Tigercat O certainly dropped off, when Collaros departed...
Hurl has more range, than I thought...at MLB...
Robert Marve helped his cause, tonight.....
Can't say the same for Brohm and Portis......
Marve does provide a change up and a different tempo.....
Willy got pretty pissed with Jhomo Gordon on a busted pattern...
M. Goossen has some attitude.......
Too bad Yantz didn't get in......

Excited to be going to the game on Friday with my out-of-town friend (thanks to the generosity of MBB!). Now I'm just gonna have to decide which games I'm going to get a mini pack to, and if I want to spend a bit more to sit closer to the action this year.
As for the Grey Cup Festival, I definitely hope to get to TD Manitoba. Outside of that, my offer still stands of holding a MBB party at my venue, with live music and whatnot. No cover, of course (for any of the poor people out there ).

If anyone wants to donate two tickets for me and my girl friend I mean that would be greatly appreciated.. Shes lived in Winnipeg for 8 years and hasn't been to a single game. I got us tickets to the first regular season game but it so happens we both have this Friday off, so if anyone wants to help me create a new fan that would be great
