Winning, at any time, brings me joy. I don’t care if it’s week 1 or 12. I’m enjoying the moments.

Honest question. Do you think that the o-line is likely to regress and get worse over time? Or, as they build familiarity, are they likely to get better and more cohesive? 

I’m not sure forced to keep, and keeping good picks are the same thing..

No, we don’t need Coombs.

If we had a dire need for a Canadian receiver or RB I'm sure we would go after him. But I don't think he has a place on this team... At all.

I like bringing in the local boys but do we need Coombs? Feels like we have a better version called Demski.

We’re giving up on Strev after four series without Adams, Matthews and Andrew Harris?

I thought the Defense (the DBs being the exception) and Special teams played very well
 The O was meh but I cant recall a Lapo coached offense where they did anything in preseason. He likes to keep his plays a secret until season starts. We also play Edmonton at home in a month so he wasnt about to show much. 
 
All in all a much expected win last night.

Streveler’s fine. 
He’s in the second year of being a backup QB. Yesterday was barely an at bat for the young man. He still very much is a weapon. But he does have to ‘get’ the passing game. And there’s time for that.
It’s just nice to see our backup backups show a little QBacking with their chances. 
But, 
There is a gap still between #2 and #3 & #4. 
There is also a gap between #1 and #2.
What will be interesting is to see if any one of those QBs can minimize the gaps and make things even more interesting.

Long gone are the likes of Weston Dressler, Clarence Denmark, Julian Feoli-Gudino, L’Damian Washington, Matt Coates, Chris Givens, Kenbrell Thompkins and Ryan Lankford.
Here now..
Replacing them are names like Chris Matthews, Nic Demski, Drew Wolitarsky, Kenny Lawler, Rasheed Bailey.

Bauming and Tait have had a lot of quality stuff. There's the "fluffy" features, sure, but the casual fans really enjoy those. For us, there's the daily News n Notes column that Tait does. Bauming has a lot of tweets about stuff happening. Between the two of them, it's pretty good...

Beg to differ. Wyman has had several articles on the Bombers camp.
This listing of TC injuries kind of snuck up on fans, so I don’t mind him reminding us just how quickly the list can grow.
Wyman, even Friesen, and especially Ed Tait have kept us informed.
Thank goodness.
This year, there seems to be a lack of fan participation/reports, so I’m happy for whatever I can get.

bonafide number one receiver and as been said...keep Adams..he would thrive as a number 2 and not have all deep focus on him...
agreed on a corner...though not necessarily at expense of Randle...but he has to earn his spot next year..he is signed for 2019 correct?
and we need an explosive returner who can play on offence..not some one trick pony DI ...

An upgrade from Dressler to a dominant receiver that pushes Darvin to #2 on our depth chart.
A replacement for Chris Randle
A more steady, solid third import receiver (but this should ideally be a new recruit, to be honest)
A safety, since I’m going to assume Loffler leaves town 

Beating Jefferson alone makes it worthwhile & even sweeter. The guy is a p****k. 

The Bombers D won't get the credit they deserve, too many years of soft coverage people won't look at what they're actually doing this season.

The only real knock to hold against him tnite was he tucked the ball away too quick and looked to run rather then stepping up into the pocket. But he did protect it well and made good decisions. And it's hard to light it up in that cold and wind. The ball to woli sailed a bit but again weather will do that. And woli turned on the jets to pull it out. 
Game management win for him and Streveler. 

Nichols wasn’t good but it was bad conditions so I’ll cut him some slack. 

He's over the top... its ridiculous.

Well you'd think if you're part of the team you'd want to be part of the team.
Guys like Leggett and Wild have stayed through injury and taken on some leadership roles.

It’s not because he’s an athlete. Doesn’t matter if he’s a movie star or rock star or blue collar. We’ve all been educated on this topic. And we have to make choices. That’s the issue. What’s $30 for a cab when you know better?
And that’s the point, he should known better because he’s part of an organization that is backing safe drive. 
He made a choice. It was the wrong one. He’s paying for it now with his suspension, and having his name put out there. And his name has to be out there. It might stop at least one person from doing the same because they can see no one is above this. 
What do we know what he’s going through? Weak. We’re all susceptible because of our own troubles, but life is above football or sports, so yes, we have to talk about it and keep reminding people to do the right thing. It’s easier than you think. 

Man you just don't get the seriousness of this...maybe if you had lost someone...or almost lost (such as myself) you may feel different...and just because others have done/do it...does that make it acceptable?..hardly
Times have changed now, and seeing as everything is known in an instant with social media/internet etc...yeah it becomes news..In the past a lot of things were never brought to light due to never having the access to hear/find out about it...so many a putz (public figure) and average Joe got to slither away..to likely do it again...
The fact too though that a team stands behind an anit-drunk driving campaign...and at first showed no course of action in regard to it is almost as bad as the incident itself...and as a public figure in the new millennium...you are under the microscope and scrutinized and as much as you may not want to be a role model in the public eye...you are and have to conduct yourself accordingly...just the way it is.
