And if a makeable FG from under 45 yards sails wide on the last play of the Western Final & we lose, what do you say then? If Ward wants to come here, it would be total insanity to say Liegghio deserves another chance. What this shows me is just how strong mentally Justin Medlock was when he played here. he could go on a tear & kick 20 straight, miss one & then go on another streak. He was unflappable. That's not easy.

Different stages of their careers, though.  Medlock had a fair few years before he came here, Leggs is just getting started. Experience and maturity plays a role.

Castillo wasn't particularly good for Edm. Leggs had a pretty good year for us overall. He is FAR down the list of problems in the GC game. People are just dumb and can't see more than the simple things.

I agree that it takes an entire team to lose, but you can't ignore the fact that it's Leggs' job to kick the ball. If he makes all his kicks, we win that game. His performance is a factor, and should not escape criticism.

Yeah he absolutely can. You got media talking about giving him year end awards for half a seasons work (in the summer no less). That is definitely overrated. The way some people talk about him you'd think he was bigger than  Jesus. Over rated. But still a good qb.

Over hyped for sure.  To the point that its gross. 3downnation's most recent podcast can only be described as a 45 minute verbal blowjob.

Not a fan of Brazen at all. The beer was a weird aftertaste.

Also TCB had since added a TV just above the performance stage. The last few Bomber games have been shown there - which makes sense as they're a sponsor lol.

As for my beer choice, I'll keep that to myself to avoid incoming stones lol.

I don't get the hype about brazen hall. The food sucks, the service is terrible and their house beer tastes like chilled piss.

The ultimate "this guy is a ****" moment was his hissy fit after Bob Irving was rightly calling it a steaming pile on air while Kelly was waiting for his interview to start.

For me, it was when i was told he banned Richard Harris and another coach, who i can't remember which,  from coaches meetings.  How can you be successful if you're doing that?

He's obviously not a good QB, but he could be effective if they built around him.

Why every team doesn't follow Walters' method of over-drafting OL, I'll never understand.

And Maas does not seem to utilize his strengths at all.

There are so many shitty teams and QBs that the Riders should easily be able to walk into the play-offs, they just can't get out of their own way.

They could win with him. But they have to realize that he isn't good enough to win by himself. It almost feels like the riders are waiting for a different version of Faj to emerge. I don't think it's gonna happen.

    Open question for the group:

    Is last week’s loss:

    (a) just a one off, no need to overreact

    (b) a sign that the house of cards this team has been is now collapsing

I assume there is a middle ground “c” choice (concern there) but again some of the rhetoric seems anything g but moderate. Thoughts? Was this just one bad loss, or have we finally been exposed?

    (C) a sign that even teams with solid depth eventually find the end of it and a depleted roster eventually starts to cost you in the win column.
