I totally disagree with the usually negative take of Iso on virtually everything and on what happened at the press conference. I thought all parties handled themselves very well considering certain members of the media were in "trap" mode.
 
I thought a lot of "thoughtful" answers were given, and I was especially impressed with our new qb. I have also yet to be disappointed by Mike O'Shea. Kyle was his usual self, and thinks before he blurts somethng out.

well come on, the cap going up doesn't mean that teams can afford 2 starting qbs on their rosters, it just means that when bidding for free agents teams will pay more for the players they really want and it will inflate all salaries. Not going to have teams carrying 2 starting qbs because some other team will always need a starter and will be able to pay more for that 2nd starter on another team than the team he is with. It's just common sense. 

Because the Roughriders would never allow it. For whatever reason their provincial pride is tied to the roughriders so people in Saskatoon are fans of the riders, would they all of a sudden start supporting the Saskatoon Berries? I doubt it.

No, they went after him last because Collaros was released first, then Burris.  They didn't want to lose out on Willy so they made a play for him.  I think if all 3 would have been released on the 11th, then you would have really seen who they were going after.

Yes, lets go ahead and trade a guy who, in a perfect world will be our starter for the next seven or eight years, maybe longer if all goes to plan versus a guy who will be hanging them up in four or five years. Exactly what would we stand to gain in that?

There is nothing wrong whatsoever with a Glenn and Willy duo. Both are every bit as good if not better than the two QB's who have signed elsewhere.

Both Glenn and Willy would be solid pick ups.

I just finished reading his tweets.  That guy is a complete moron.  As if you're going to sign a guy that wants to go to the NFL BEFORE he gets a chance to go down.  Hmm...let's see...$600K starting salary or $150K to stay in winter wonderland...HHHMMMM....That's a tough one.
 
And the people that follow him are just as stupid.  One guy said that no one wants to sign here because we have no DC in place.  Umm...didn't we just sign Etch?
