Some of those nightmares were self-induced.

I give up someone make a list of what is allowed to be joked upon and what is not.
Are we still allowed to call Friesen a troll or does that offend all lark and DND fans?

Why would we want Swayze Waters?  First he's an import kicker.  Second, he hit 72% of his FG's last year, 74% in 2012, and he plays in a dome for half his games.  Third, we just re-signed Mike Renaud to handle punting duties.  Fourth we have Liri Hirahaluah who I am sure can hit at least 72% of his FGs. 
 
Not saying it won't happen, but I would find it very, very puzzling.

Unless Willy already knows this.  Notice the hesitation when on Willy's part when they asked him if he was the starter?  Then Walters answer after about how they're always looking to upgrade?  I think O'Shea stated he was the starter to throw off a possibility of another team screwing them over if the Bombers wanted to trade them for a vet.  My own conspiracy theory...I think they told Willy before hand that he was their long term plan, but that they're going to say that Willy is the starter so that they can try and trade for Glenn at a lesser price.  That's why I think they announced Willy as their starter.
 
Personally, I'm good either way, I think Willy has what it takes even if we don't get Glenn or some other vet.

it's not that they drafted Glenn with the intention of getting Burris and flipping Glenn, it's that when they started to pursue Burris they felt they could do it. Now they're paying 2 starting qbs, one who is angry to not be the starter and one who hates when someone else is breathing down his neck. The Bombers being the only other team that needed a starting qb coming out and saying "yeah we're sticking with willy" is a big FU to Ottawa cause now they've got their qb controversy and they haven't even hit training camp yet. 

The fan base here is simplyb unreal and ridiculious.. I simply mind boggled and disappointed really at the depths in which you guys go to find fault and attempt to imply stupidity and foolish ways to prepare for a press conference.
I mean, some of you are trying your damnedness to what.. Point out the smallest inconsistency and make it like its harpo and the fuckalong gang up there on stage? Stop. just stop. Its not even on a realistic level anymore. Have walters and company not done what we need them to do? excellent head coach prospect, starting QB that a hof QB said was a good choice weeks go..
Lighten the **** up already or go cheer for another team. Im really using the term cheer loosely here because im not allowed to imply the actions of some here as antagonistic.. That would just be a no no as these fans are clearly supporting the team they love. On a fan support page. Full of supportive and folks that bleed blue and gold..

Guys. Seriously. He's the GM. It's his job to always be on the lookout for upgrades, whether he's got "the best" or not. It's the Coaches job to work with what the GM gives him.

No I didn't get that feeling at all. I thought the three of them handled the questions really well. Even Willy, who's not use to the spotlight, handled himself pretty well. I liked the press conference and felt pretty confident after it was over.

Some of you sure have some bizarre expectations. This was a press conference to introduce our new starting QB and you want them to provide an honest answer on whether or not he was their first choice or not?
 
"We'd like to introduce our new STARTING quarterback, Drew Willy! He wasn't our first or second choice but hey, he was available!"
 
And suggesting that because they're interested in upgrading the QB stable, they don't feel confident in Willy?

Who cares if Willy is option C! At least this group had three options.
The last two seasons of this team only having the option A of Pray Buck doesn't get hurt was brutal!
Already Walters and O Shea have surpassed The last regime by having a clear direction of who they want to go with and the guy they choose is somebody without injury issues and who wasn't on the decline.
