Yes, I think Bomber fans deserve a Grey Cup and I think it's quite incredible that we haven't had one since 1990.
But games happen at the micro-level. We've been to the GC and we've been with the best team and it has not worked out. Glenn's arm, Westwood's foot... whatever.
Build a good team, attract good coaches and players and we'll get another chance to hoist the GC. Do that on the macro-level and I'll be happy. We'll get ours.

But while they are here that is what they are making and I never included food.Do they get paid during the 2 bye Weeks? If so then it's 20 weeks+housing +food. If you are on a practice roster in the CFL you will need an off season job.The CFL is not a league rolling in $ .Gate $ is a more important figure than the NFL.The more players make, the more we are charged for tickets.Ive done alot more for alot less at times just for the love of it.Thorpe wanted off,the Bombers said OK.There are hundreds more willing to do it.

Monday, August 28, 2017 — TORONTO (August 28, 2017) -- The Canadian Football League (CFL) and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats have released the following statement:
    Randy! Randy!
    Randy for Commissioner!
A firestorm of anxiety and never ending finger pointing has been averted. Earlier today a cross country shytestorm wind blew through all the provinces like the unpredictable winds at Tim Horton's field on this hiring controversy, but to the delight of all, the CFL, although wind blown, comes out on the right end of this decision.
Nevermind Diversity is Strength, how about the strength shown in leadership today?
    Well done!

?‍?Clarence Denmark must have heard all the talk of dropping him from the lineup when Dressler gets back....2 TDs
?‍?It's nice to have and hold the lead all game.
    ?‍?Adams - pure money
    ?‍?The Bede bounce...
?‍?Still hate those TD calls when the receiver/runner fumbles the ball without possession
?‍?First time, in a long time, where we win the game after an opposition player accomplishes a record setting feat...feels good
?‍?Remember when we did just enough to lose a game?
?‍?Does the fact Bombers are wearing home uniforms count as a home win?
?‍?And the groan from Saskatchewan gets even louder.
?‍?Bombers are keeping their offensive scoring average up there...33 points average over what...the last 7 games?
Derek Taylor - Speaking on LaPo's sense of humour...2:08 left in the 4th, Neufeld waggles to the line as the Field #2 rec. Minimum 3rd time this season!
    - Final count from the Eskimos/Bombers game...Edmonton missed a CFL season high 19 tackles! Previous high was 13.
?‍?That Nichols guy sure gets the job done..
?‍?Special package delivery for the Montreal Alouettes. - Andrew Harris 17 touches - 106 yards..
?‍?The taste of revenge tingled the lips of the Alouettes players until Randle wiped it away
    ?‍?Leggett, he de man
?‍?Can say that that was probably Knox's best game.
?‍?A thank you note has been sent to Durant on behalf of Chris Randle for throwing to his side.
?‍?Can't win any coin tosses, but we won the time of possession..
Winnipeg Gordo - Wade Miller sighting at the GnR concert. He said this is the 1st #Bombers away game he hasn't gone to in 4 years.
Blue And Gold CFL- Lankford can fly when he's in open space #Bombers
    - When I talked to Adams on my flight back to Winnipeg (he was sitting beside me), he said Mincy was the most underrated DB in the CFL
Ted Wyman - How big is that hustling special teams tackle by Ryan Lankford to catch Stef Logan on the kickoff return now? #Bombers
?‍?We shouldn't have let Montreal back in the game before the half...
?‍?Must be super frustrating for Nic Lewis to set a new record...and still lose the game
?‍?Trick play on the Bonbers? Nuh-huh Christophe Normand with the stop
Patric Scott - Wow I called that interception right before it happened! I SEE YOU @ChrisRandle_Ad
?‍?But really, did it have to be such a Nic Lewis call out all game?
?‍?Run Matt, Run, -  2nd leading Bomber rusher
Blue Bomber Talk - That punt from Ryan Lankford may have been the best of the game. That's saying something, considering he's a receiver. #Bombers #AlsMTL #CFL
Medlock is 95% career from 30-39
    ?‍?BOMBERS = ENTERTAINMENT
?‍?3's the number for game winning FGs for Mr. Medlock
Blue And a Gold CFL - Ryan Lankford's punt travelled 60+ yards in the air #Bombers
Matthias Goosen - Another gritty win #fortheW! Love battling with my brothers!!!
Paddy Neufeld - Huge win, I love this team, every single part of it! #forthew #bombers
?‍?What an effort by Denmark for the 1st overtime TD. Make the catch, flip over, stretch, and get the TD. The throw was bang on. Same for the throw and catch by Adams. Right where it had to be. 1st 2 point conversion this year

?‍?Oh, by the way Hail Mary interceptions don't count..
Chris Randle - “The resiliency of this team, the mindset of this team … at no point in time on that sideline did we think we were going to lose the game,” said Randle, whose team is 4-1 on the road this season and 11-3 over the last two seasons. “That comes from the head coach and the leaders and all the players who were focused and determined to win this game no matter how we had to win it.”
?‍?The West Division is now 18-2-1 against the East
?‍?Risky play or not, on the Bombers kicking the ball from their own zone? I think the 1st kick was warranted, but the second kick was playing with fire ?
?‍?Although it sure was irritating to have technical difficulties resulting in no coverage, it was sure nice to hear the Bombers had scored in the meantime..
?‍?One word response from Ian Wild....."Whew!"
?‍?Many feel that the recognition for Lewis should have waited for another day instead of at the end of the game with everybody leaving. I agree.
Darrin Bauming - There's a vibe inside that room — it's a real thing — the guys know they can win every week. The O'Shea mentality has sunk in. #Bombers
    - A five-game win streak, and the #Bombers have not trailed in a game in their last four contests. Some days off now before prep for LDC-Banjo
    ?‍?Worth mentioning again....RANDLE!
?‍?Bombers' 'hands' team showed up again. Is it because we always play shorter teams?
?‍?I know it was a Guns and Roses concert last night but Aerosmith's "Living on the Edge" seems more appropriate for the Bombers..
June Jones - "I think winning is way more than just what you do on the field. I think it starts in the locker room." - @CoachJuneJones...?‍?Seems very appropriate in relation to the Bombers.
?‍?Tell me. How can the CFL expect to match the entertainment value of Bomber games this year?
TJ Heath - Who said they would all be easy. That's a fairy tale. It's hard winning. 7-2
    ?‍?Your move Saskatchewan...

Well friends, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers marched into La Belle Province tonight trying to get to 7 wins by the halfway mark of the season for the first time since the halcyon days of Kahari Jones (editor's note, actually they were 7-1 back in 2011), and more importantly to keep pace with the leaders in the Western conference heading into the Labour Day weekend. And despite the temptations of St. Laurent street, which has led more than one young player astray in the wee hours of the morning, the Bombers showed no ill effects as they jumped out to a 10-0 lead before the teams switched sides for the first time. But as we have come to expect with this team, nothing comes easy for them, and close games that come down to the wire are as predictable for them as it is to hear Nick Hill saying "Come ooooon down" during our commercial breaks. So it was no surprise to see the Alouettes storm back and tie the game up with a last second field goal to send us into overtime all evened up. But a little extra football never hurt anyone, and the Bombers got the job done when they needed to, and it all turned out nice again.
Now as is the custom after a game, I bestow the Happy Honker award on a player that in my mind is the most deserving of it. Now as you know, the Happy Honker ward does not usually go to the best player in the game, but is given to that player who did something just that little extra special, that made you stand up and take notice, that maybe made an impact on that one play. And for 60 minutes it looked like that player who was going to receive the Happy Honker Award was special teamer Ryan Langford, who ran down Stefan Logan when it looked like he was going to return kick all the way for a touchdown, which of course led to Maurice Leggett corralling a fumble 2 plays later and the All came away with nothing when it looked like they might get 7, and with the game going to overtime, those lost points certainly cost Montreal.
But the game did not end after 60 minutes, and so the Happy Honker does not stop there. We got an extra game, 2 extra games in fact, and therefore this Happy Honker is all about 2. In the first extra session, on down number 2 at the opposition 10 yard line. Matt Nicholas hit Clarence Denmark, who 95% percent of people may want to get rid of when the Bombers sign Derel Walker, or so I have read, and Denmark made a great grab, changed hands with the ball, and stretched over the goal line falling down for touchdown number 2 on the night, and that was a touchdown the Bombers absolutely needed to keep their hopes alive in the end, so that is Happy Honker #1. But as I said, this Award is all about 2, so there is a second Happy Honker tonight. In overtime #2, Darian Durant threw a pass over the middle but failed to see Chris Randle cutting across the field, and Randle made a beautiful play to get interception #2 on the night, and all that was left was for Justin Medlock to kick yet another game winning field goal to send the Bomber fans off happily into the night, and with it 2 points for the Bombers in the standings. So my 2 Happy Honker Awards tonight go to Clarence Denmark and Chris Randle, for 2 big plays on 2 overtime drives that gave the Bombers 2 big points.

A little insight into this...It is..or was very common in college ranks to use them to gain the edge, and under the right conditions, monitoring and proper cycling isn't as harmful as it is made out to be.
I can attest to the fact that programs subtly "encouraged " the use, or hinted that in order to progress and play that it may be an option. Many programs, and I have seen it first hand almost go as far as to telling you where to get it, and actually have medical personnel and a lot of times med students help administer it to guys who were too scared to inject themselves, if they were not taking it orally. It was much safer to inject as to ingest as the toxin elements of some  only have to pass through your liver once then, being less taxing on the organ.
I will also say and admit that I dabbled in the use as well, it was do what was needed or be left behind. It is as advertised and is definitely a performance enhancer and helps in healing and recovery (the one initial reason why I went on a cycle)
My bench press went up by about 180 pounds in a months time and , I grew from about 235-240 to a high of 282 pounds at my biggest and ran about a 4.65 forty at a playing weight of about 255-265 pounds. Never had any negative effects and wasn't a contributing factor in my injuries, but I wasn't an abuser and went for regular liver functions tests, blood tests and the likes to monitor things. also done wisely you keep most of the gains if you stop it properly and to this day I still weigh in around 260-265
The instances where you hear about deaths assumed to be caused by them are the chronic user/abusers who never go off, take extremely ridiculous amounts of many different types, both human and veterinarian types  and  they pay for it in the end...mainly bar starts, and the professional body builder types.
It's just silly the douchers who use it strictly for vanity and ego type things...athletically tho...you will never be free of it and sadly..especially in the U.S it's way to prevalent in the High school ranks..this type of stuff should never be used until the body has already physically matured and I would say that is early to mid twenties

Two things I forgot to include. Must have been when I spilled my coffee..
?‍?I forgot to include the absolute most BS call the CFL calls these days. A defensive contact penalty when the defender is holding his ground. This penalty was called last night when Cory Watson levelled Heath just as Loffler was intercepting Reilly's pass. Heath was NOT running and suddenly stopping (justification) but rather when he was just standing there. O'Shea challenged and lost. That's just wrong...IMO
?‍?And secondly, on special teams, when the Eskimos tried that onside kick, well, aren't our players well Coached up on how to block on it. Between the  time O'Neil kicked the ball and Adams snagged it, there wasn't an Eskimo still standing to try and retrieve it. They were all levelled. Beautiful to watch.

?‍?Glad we held that tackle-breaking class just before this game. It seemed every ball carrier broke at least one tackle. It was like they had a competition on who could break more...
?‍?They have it wrong. It's not location, location, location. It's possession, possession, possession. And the Bomber possessed. That happens when our O keeps their O off the field..
?‍?Truly, I have never seen Harris play so well as in this game.
?‍?And the groans grows louder from one province over...
?‍?Couldn't  beat us, even with luck and circus catches.
?‍?Brilliant game management by the Bombers. Caught them 3-4 times with too many men on the field. Awesome.
?‍?I'm throwing my playbook away. I don't need it. LaPolice has got it covered. This team is spreading its wings and every player is getting involved. LaPolice is making it happen. It's really fun to watch.
?‍?So nice to have Flanders as an option.
?‍?Absolutely love winning a Thursday night game. With 2 points in our pocket, we can settle in and watch the other teams beat themselves up.
?‍?What's not to like about over 30,554 fans screaming madly for the team they love.
Nichols wouldn't let him have the ball...

?‍?I like the expression - fundamental football. Fits this game.
?‍?What's up TJ? Can't be the interception leader like that..
Jim Toth - #Bombers hurry up offence is really giving #Eskimos defence headaches... #CFL
Terry Jones (Edmonton) - This game isn't even close. Other than the scoreboard.
Darrin Bauming - That's *game-manager Matt Nichols driving the field again...
    ?‍?Bombers no-huddle-offence - "cheetah" - gotta love that...
Juicy...Arash Madani- Kenny Stafford being cut by WPG in the pre-season wasn't about talent. He was a locker room issue. They took the cap hit for a clean break.
Randy Turner - I'm beginning to think Andrew Harris just uses the first tackler to keep his balance. #Bombers
?‍?To be honest, Eskimos were never reilly in this game.
?‍?Harris - Player of the Week? Month?
    ?‍?That game was....for the fans.
    Blue and Gold CFL
Idc... Winnipeg is the 2nd best team in the CFL. And Calgary is on the radar #Bombers
Troy Westwood - Coming into the game Edmonton had the #1 pass D in the #CFL allowing an average of 252.9 yards per game. Nichols threw for 390 tonight.
    ?‍?W - for wicked
?‍?Very nice work by the D-Line tonight, and for the most part...the secondary. Several times Reilly couldn't putt the ball anywhere worthwhile.
Carmen Chinery - The plane is expected to be added to the six-game IR tomorrow.
?‍?In my opinion, the score severely flatters the Eskimos.
CFL on TSN- .@andrewharris33 set the bar higher for running backs.
    ?‍?I - for impressive
?‍?C'an't forget mentioning the special Teams -  locked in..as usual.
?‍?Bombers have a winner in Thorpe...
    ?‍?YAC yards all night long
?‍?Onlly Ten yards  - Bomber offence only had 10 yards more than 5 FOOTBALL FIELDS!
    ?‍?Bombers - Only 2 punts!
?‍?18 penalties total - split between both teams
?‍?It's time people realize we have a Quarterback!
?‍?Bombers had a lot of 'un-picks' last night.
