So whose left? Is there anything left of interest to the bombers? I still really like to see them re-signed Chris Matthews.

I expect Montreal to go all out and try to sign Muamba if he returns.

I really was hoping to get Emry or Butler. A bit disappointed so far.

With all the DBS WPG has now I doubt we are in the mix for Pat Watkins.

I never understood why a coach or someone from management would declare a player as your starter in off season. Absolutely ridiculous! If the Bombers aquire Glenn or another veteran it is to be the starter not back up. O'Shea would be screwing Willy over exactly how Ottawa screwed Glenn. Nobody should be considered a starter until after they have earned it in training camp. Instead of this being a big FU to Ottawa, it could end up being considered a big FU to Willy.

Who were the other two rumoured to sign?

Why do you expect him here and at what position? He's played DB and LB

I'm of the belief that Willy was always in the plans, however I also believe the club wanted one of the other two as well. If they were successful in signing Collaros they would probably let he and Willy battle it out in camp and went with the "one-two" punch throughout the season. If they were able to sign Burris, they would have used Burris as a starter for a year maybe two and mentor Willy, he being the "future". It is my opinion that if we would have signed Khari as OC we would have been able to sign one of the two other QBs. Here we are though, we have a new QB that now knows what it feels like to be on a Grey Cup winning team, albeit in a back up capacity, and now given an opportunity to lead his own team. He is not raw by any means, has shown that he has the ability and is ready for the next step. Best of all he did not cost an arm and a leg, so we still have plenty of $$$ to bring in some impact players.

The risk cutting Cauchy is that his brother may follow him to another team if the NFL doesn't work. Maybe DB would be a better option for him and he doesn't have to worry about covering so much space. I did like when the Bombers would send him on a safety blitz.

I'd love to see us steal Butler and Kory Sheets from the Riders. If we can get Drew Willy then it's quite possible the club will have a ton more cash to throw around. The club needs to turn things around now and start heading in the right direction. Hopefully peaking in 2016 so they can fill IGF with Bomber fans cheering for their blue and gold home team.

I can't help but think that if Walters is saying that we are going to consider going with 3 Nip receivers, he actually means bidding on Emery, Butler and/or Laurent. No way he is going to show his hand. This crew keeps their cards close to their vest and always has their poker face on. When it comes to FA I'm sure we will hear quite a bit of bluffing. Walters will try to do his best to pounce without giving the other GMs any type of heads up.

I think its fantastic if Ottawa signs Hank and we sign Willy. Our cap space will allow up to shore up all the other areas of weakness. Nothing like a team starting out with a QB controversy right off the bat. I cannot see Glenn and Hank playing well together. In all honesty I would take Tate or Glenn before Burris asking as we get Willy. I'm not giving up hope until I hear that Willy won't be signing here too.

I hope he signs in Edm and Jones decides to cut Nicols. I'd rather have Willy, Nicols and Hall

I'm to the point where I would be calling Taman to swing some sort of deal to get Willy and tell Hank to **** himself. Part of the deal with the Riders would be that the Bombers continuing to negotiate with Burris so Edm ends up paying and arm and leg for him. Bombers can then sign Willy and use the extra $$$ on signing some of the bigger name FA.

Should the Bombers management consider making a trade for Willy's rights? I know that winnipeg is pretty well the only place that the starting position is considered wide open, however Edmonton and Montreal may consider bringing him in to compete for the #1 job.

Might cost us Pontbriand though... They are pretty set at FB. I'd prefer to send Volney
