Woodson is not being used properly. They should being using him like the Argos use Durie (I am by no means stating he is as good as Durie before some of you go off on me).
You'd have to consider Taman if he was a possibility. He's put together a Grey Cup team and is well on his way to another. The problem is...would he want to come back and deal with the goofs on the BOD who want all the control and place all sorts of limits and restrictions. Can't think of too many interested in coming into this type of scenario.
Westwood is suggesting Taman could be lured out of Saskatchewan. I think he is out of his mind. The Bombers don't spend the kind of money it would take to get someone like Taman, Huffer, Buono or Popp. I'd imagine Taman is still bitter towards the club.
Trade Muamba brothers to Montreal for Edem and a first round pick next draft. The Bombers are in a position where they cannot replace Cauchy without pissing off Henoc.
Roy Shivers BC Director, Player Personnel
Neil McEvoy BC Player Personnel Coordinator & Assistant to the GM
John Murphy (May be able to bring over Dave Dickenson and a QB)
Chris Jones Argos Assistant GM/Assistant Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator
I know that some will disagree, but I feel this is the time to let Mack go. Give the new GM an opportunity to start evaluating for next season. Not saying they should write this season off as the coaching staff should have the rest of the season to prove that they deserve to keep their jobs. I believe doing it this way would make for the smoothest/less disruptive way to transition.
Won't the Stamps be only allow to protect one QB in the expansion draft next year? Why not offer up a trade for Mitchell or Tate? No interest in Glenn.
Hopefully Sears and Dunn are back sooner than later, so Sears can go back to being a corner. He can replace JJ and Dunn can return to SAM as he was better at Sears. Washington can go back to DB.
The BOD should be considering who the new GM is going to be and bring him in by Labour Day. Give that person time to get familiar with the team and coaches so the necessary moves can be made in the off season.
