How does having your 4th and 5th string players start for you show a depth issue exactly? First they haven't played so maybe they'll surprise...likely won't happen...because they're the 4th and 5th string players but still. That simply isn't the rule in the CFL though. That's just your opinion. If a QB slides head first, the play continues until he is touched....this happened in wpg a couple years ago where calvillo slide head first hit the ground and the ball popped out....no one had touched him so we recovered the fumble and it was ruled our ball, because AC slide head first meaning the play wasn't over until he was touched. I don't understand how people don't get it....head firts play on...feet first play off. end of story.

It also doesn't help that the CFL is pretty much useless when it comes to suspensions. That needs to change.

How many times has Marve been stopped? Other than once or twice at the goal line? I know he got stopped on the 30 yard line against Montreal but that was a bad decision to go for it in the first place. With the lack of push of the O-Line I don't think Refrigerator Perry would have gotten a first down on that play. But watching it you can see he hesitates or takes an extra step or something. There's something with him after he takes the snap that isn't right...lol I don't know what it is but I really hope come thursday they've found someone else to do the short yardage. I like him as a QB just not as a short yardage guy.

Glad the bombers are letting things play out the way they will. And not over reacting. I'm also glad someone brought up the point that he probably won't have to go to court because he was issued a ticket. Not arrested. Isn't that how it works. If I get a speeding ticket I don't go to court and get sentenced. I pay the fine and move on. Don't know if that applies here but it doesn't seem to make sense for him to go to court when he's been given a ticket. As for the smell was in the car so he must have been smoking. Plenty of studies show that someone who uses then drives is less likely to drive dangerously, and can actually drive safer then when sober. though it does depend on how much was used, and how the driver used ie smoking, eating, pipe, bong, vaporizer etc. And the strength/type of pot. It's a pretty complicated subject which is why the laws on it aren't as solid as the Drinking and driving laws.
