  1. I'm do disagree to a point. I think he's been involved more than he should be. But as a rotational player, I think he does what is asked of him.
  2. Fair, that's what I was getting at with the way the CND talent is in the league. Thomas isn't ever going to be a star. But he produces. And there's no team in the league that has all their CNDs at an all star level. Teams need to fill gaps with gap fillers. And if he's release. He won't be out of work long.
  3. They don't count. None of them are ex 1st round NFL draft picks. "Coates (not going to scare anyone)" Our back up Canadian Rec isn't going to scare anyone??? OMG THIS TEAM IS ****!!!!! And anyone who dumps of Thomas needs to STFU and either relearn or just learn how the CFL works when it comes to CND players. Thomas would be scooped up immediately if released tomorrow. He makes a significant play in almost every game. FOOOOOR example, against the ticats, he hustled off his block and tripped up Green AFTER he got to the second level. Had he not made that play Green scoots for at least 30 yards and possibly a TD. Thomas made the play and stopped the drive.
  4. If this wasn't against BC with the season series on the line, I'd agree with you. But this is actually a pretty big game. This team hasn't lost two games in a row this year, have an opportunity to clinch a playoff spot (maybe even home date?) and if they win they force the tie breaker two weeks from now, it's a 4 point swing if they win AND they need to keep pace with the other western teams who are all coming off wins . So all those things considered, Nichols needs to play if he can. As for getting his hand getting hit etc etc...if his hand hits a helmet or gets caught between pads, last week injuries or not, he's going to be in a lot of pain. "He might get hurt" is a great way for a coach to lose his job.
  5. That's a pretty reasonable list.
  6. To be fair, he lit up Edmonton last year and has got a CFL record to prove it. So he is capable....but I'd be ok Resting Legget. Need everyone healthy for BC
  7. There was also about 1 min of game time run off the clock for some reason. CFL has not addressed that. It was between plays. The clock just kept ticking....
  8. The fact that he didn't break 10,000 yrds as a Bomber still pisses me off!
  9. Givens might be that extra option on O. He's got some solid wheels and decent size. Hopefully we get a chance to see what he's got. As for Adams. Guy has been absolutely lights out this year!
  10. That game will be for 1st place!!!
  11. I believe they are 8-5 now thanks to the Bombers
  12. The way they called that game. I forgot the bombers were even playing. The great Reilly was all that mattered.
  13. Let the guessing begin! MTL? SSK? Back to TO? maybe even BC?
  14. **** for hands though
  15. He may not be planning on being in Sask for a long time. But I fail to see him getting more money at his next gig, unless it's south of the border of course.
  16. Let's not forget that he didn't crack the bombers line up either.
  17. I think the Stamps come back to earth before the playoffs happen this year. They haven't been playing well on O for a few game know. I can see them losing to WPG once and to Edm or BC (teams capable of big plays). I can seethe last game of the year between CGY and WPG being for 1st place. If you look at who is playing better Football. WPG is trending in the right direction in most categories where as CGY isn't. Their D is playing lights out no doubt. But that's about it.
  18. This might hold some water if it were true. But there are plenty of 3rd party Journalists who break stories before the "team guy" does. Weicek is afraid of change and seemingly unwilling to adapt in the ever changing landscape that is journalism. He's just another old timer who, if he doesn't change will be out of a job likely sooner than later.
