He'll likely be lining up against a weaker DB out there as well. I don't mind him out there, He has the speed to get open and runs nice enough routes that it'll make him hard to cover basically anywhere. He'll be inside a few times though.

yeah, I don't see the necessity of bringing him in? Our CND WR talent isn't something that jumps off the page, but I don't think he improves it at all. And considering where we are with CND Olinemen...I was expecting to see some insurance for that brought in

it's not that odd. Didn't the bombers cut sorenson (Spelling?) a few years back. He helped win a grey cup last year. I'm not saying he's a super star, but a change of scenery can be good. I'm thinking especially when coming home. 3rd year player, CND olineman, Walters would be foolish to not try.

However, it was no secret that the more pressure you put on AC, especially when you started hitting him (even if he got the ball off) he got more and more frustrated and would get happy feet.

he's going to play the role of DB. Plug up the middle to open the ends for the pass rush. You're right that he's not ready for live action just yet. But in one or two years I can see him being a key piece to the Dline. Even in the Preseason, his first real pro starts he was getting double teamed. Once he gets the nuances of the pro game down, I can see him being a real force in the middle. Hopefully it pans out.

First I'd just like to say that this was preseason. So the results are what they are but not a measuring stick for the year. Saying that, I really hope those imbreds at the rider forum are riping Jones a new one. I mean according to most the bombers looked horrible in their WIN against MTL. Some even considered it a battle of the worst 2 teams this year. Now bc is certainly on that list of bottom feeders and the riders couldn't even compete. Starters or not. I'm sure they're making up all sorts of excuses as to why they looked like garbage though. I can't wait to see how mad Jones gets throughout the year.

It's boring at work today so I'm going to complain about something that's not that important. Was any one else annoyed at how often the drummers were playing? It was after nearly every play, you could barely make out what the announcers were saying and I was in the upper deck. Don't get me wrong, I like them. But it was just too much. Save that **** for TD's or something. Damn

Saying that though, I sure hope they find a way to keep both!

In regards to Flanders vs Anderson. Anderson didn't really have a chance to go against anyone in the 4th qtr. If I'm not mistaken most of his time came in the 2nd/some of the 3rd. I'd still go with Anderson over Flanders at this point as Anderson showed more early than Flanders did. This is assuming that more talented players were on the field for MTL earlier in the game.
