Well the stats backed up my arguments also. Nobody was considering Zach an MOP candidate last season.

3 to 4 times per game. Lawler and others bailed him out. Are you forgetting his TD to Int ratio up until the end of the year? The amount of times in the game day threads where people OMG'd or brought up that Zach made a bad choice shot up considerably last season. Throwing a ball in an area full of db's is the choice of a QB. I hope for next season Hogan drills into Zachs head that he has the permission to check down and throw short when read 1 and 2 are tightly covered.

So we can blame Buck for Zach throwing it into double coverage on a frequent basis?

Many (not all) Americans are very simple folks. I saw a video from the game where someone was holding a sign saying that Canada will welcome the States as the 11th province and that "triggered" some Americans into wanting to get into a fight. Yet the President and more recently the press secretary continue to "joke" about Canada being a new State and for those same simple folks they find nothing wrong with that same message coming from their side.

If I'm a Hamilton fan I'm very concerned on how much they brought in from our team. I'd be worried that the new GM doesn't actually have a Mike Kelly approved database full of players and that he only does have a few Subway napkins with names he is familiar with.

So are the Riders and Bombers complete morons for not signing Arbuckle? Once again... so Mike Bishop and his 12 - 1 Argos season means he was a great QB? Why are we counting the last 5 years? I'm talking about as of today, Zach looked bad last season and couldn't throw the ball. Harris was better at throwing the ball and being a QB then Zach, the numbers do not lie. Zach also had the best running back behind him which can only help the passing game. Once again.... how does Zach gives us a better chance of winning then Harris has to do with what the Riders did in the off season? I don't think they had an offer of Zach for Harris straight up from us. Nobody knows what was offered for Adams? Maybe the Riders did make an attempt and Calgary gave a better offer? Bottom line as I said before... who could the Riders have signed in the off season to improve their QB situation that would replace Harris? It's not like they signed Harris to a 5 year deal and are committing to him for the long term?

Last year Harris had 3 more TD's in about 130 less pass attempts then Zach. Vernon Adams was traded to Calgary, not signed as a free agent. So once again I ask who would of been a better guy to sign this off season? They sign the "best" and I use that with loose quotes veteran QB who was on the market as a back up as insurance. So unless they went rookie or completely unknown commodity at backup I don't understand what they could of done to improve the QB situation?

How so? They signed Maier and outside of that did they have a better option at QB? Harris at this point is better then Zach and possibly less injury prone, I believe our QB situation is much more risky then what they are doing.

You mean the two teams that made it to the Grey Cup shouldn't drop down the rankings near the bottom and that a team that gained three notable free agents shouldn't skyrocket to the top?

Darvin Adam's worked out well? Also when they had brought in Dressler, Ryan Smith, Ellington, Moore.. all of those came off as big FA signings coming off good seasons. Are we forgetting about whitehead in his first go around, Demski and Schoen? Receiver is one position where we have not struggled since the Mike Kelly era.

So during our big losing period where we had terrible coaching and rotated terrible qbs we didn't have a quality receiver? Shocking?

As per his cfl.ca stats... 0 = 100 yard games His longest reception is 45 yards in length, after that one big reception he has a handful of 30 - 35 yards receptions. I wouldn't consider that a deep threat?

We've signed dozens of mediocre receivers since the signing of Terrance Edwards. I don't get what is similar between Edwards and White Jr outside of playing for Montreal?

The fear that I have is that a guy like Zach will be completely done and the stubborness of O'Shea of moving on will pile on an extra 5 - 6 losses for no reason at all.

I'm not sure if you were a part of Ourbombers.com , but this site is much more of a modern day "safe space" then the old days where grown adults could bust balls and shoot from the hip without anyone having hurt feelings or take offense to a word like tugger. When I hear tugger I picture this dude:

They mainly exploited our coaches inability to adapt and change a game plan when things were not working (i.e. use our MOP running back which was working and continue to run the ball)

The guy who is going to bump Terry Wilson off the team.

I guess looking at the glass half full... maybe with that $400 000 they can extend guys who are on their last year and throw that money as bonuses and give those players smaller salaries for the next year or two?
