  1. Mike Reilly is like a real life Tecmo Super Bowl player.... So entertaining to watch.
  2. But they weren't on a short leash... We kept Brohm in despite stinking it up pretty much 100% of the time this year. Why does this team wait so long to make the obvious changes?
  3. LH nearly cost us the game... Gave the Riders that td and misses a 25 yarder? Also Stoudamire needs to sit.. Way to shakey with the ball. Aside from some bad penalties and lucky turn overs we could of smoked the green. The score flattered them tonight. Defense was lights out, Nicholls spread the ball, o line did well.
  4. So MB can call deep plays on a guy who joined us 10 days ago.... Yet couldn't call the same plays with a guy who has been with us for two years? He definitely called a better game but I'm still unsure on why Walker gets runs up the gut?
  5. So Nicholls on 10 days can throw balls 20 hard down the field and check down to walker and Marshall. Brohm in 2 years is limited to 5 yard curls... I don't get this team.
  6. I saw him and Hufnagel at the stadium going over plays for next season!!
  7. I thought it was Hogan's idea to turn heel, purely because of his ego and having to be the guy all the time.
  8. No worries capgeek said that the ticats only have 85 dollars left so they can't sign him!
  9. As a 49ers fan this season is scary... They lost way to much talent, loss a great coach and aside from the rugby player they have not brought in anyone to replace who they lost. It will be a dreadful year for them.
  10. Nicholls is Kevin Glenn lite... as a back up he's a good option. As a starter he doesn't have it.
  11. So the 0-9 Riders playing a raw rookie equals great depth? That's all bull ****, its poor coaching and poor qb play and nothing else.
  12. Sucks for Marve, another lesson learned for the Blue. No more signing guys with a history of injuries.
  13. Firing him midseason is a trap. Then you get a situation like when Crowton was let go and Bellefeuille was brought in. Hard to make changes wholesale midseason so it's not really improving anything, but hey the guy works well with the rest of the staff might as well just keep him. If the offence is going to be ****** the rest of this season regardless why not wait until the offseason to make the change and then you can go out and find the best candidate and not have the temptation to just go with the easy status quo hire. Except that MB has proven he can't win with our current players. And his playcalling is terrible. Why reward that kind of work? Give something else a try, even if for shits and giggles.Never wanted him here in the first place. I never wanted him here in the first place either, but you can't change an offence completely with only 8 games remaining. We're stuck with his crap all year like it or not, might as well wait until the offseason. But then again I'm not the kind of person who needs a public execution to placate me. It's not like he has any kind of system in place? Run up the gut and five yard out. I'm pretty sure anyone else could teach more in under a week. It's not like MB game plans... We had two weeks for Calgary and he showed nothing new. Against a weak rider secondary we barely attacked it. They could use a random play calling system and probably could do no worse then the typical 200 yards of offense.
  14. Hire a consultant to help MB out. Perhaps a guy that knows when to pull a qb, one who knows more then five plays and one who has plays where passes go less then 5 yards. Why does it take a guy two years to make these kind of changes? If we keep status quo then how can we expect any kind of improvement? Might as well throw the towel in now.
  15. I don't see it, why would he?
  16. So we now fire Walters? I kiddd...
  17. Montreal axed the coach after a win. One or even two wins doesn't change the stank from the last two seasons.
  18. So now that Tracey is gone.. Does this mean we can open the playbook and call 10 yard passing plays and perhaps some variation on the running plays?
  19. I think the fact that the Grey Cup has sold nothing is more then enough of a "jab" towards the organization. Why would anyone want the team to go bankrupt? I much prefer the fans being vocal then being cheapos.
  20. Most good teams don't restrict their playbook to 5 yard passes or less. The funny part is that over the last 2 seasons with Willy... our most success comes from the deep ball. We have not been a good dink and dunk team.
  21. Well apparently Wally told me that most of our guys are signed at league minimum so we should have about 94 million left in cap space.
  22. I don't even think the fans expected a cup this season. It's the fact that we are severely regressing and showing zero hope is what is the killer. It's not our patience that needs work... It's the complete lack of competence and positive changes. IMO Walters and O Shea can rebound... MB is way far gone and clearly has no upside and needs out asap.
  23. Great coaches don't have losing records and don't get blown out to the Riders. Great coaches also dont wait until its already to late to make changes. O Shea at this point is a shittier coach then Mike Kelly. Even that arrogant prick at least changed the offense after it clearly didn't work. Hopefully he grows as a coach, gets some bawls and make the obvious change on offense.
