Myers is not going anywhere .... that name should be left out for any fantasy trades.

Laing and Capicotti both are very good and would be definitely a boost in talent for them. I'd rather they both go elsewhere. Gutting the defense made 100% sense to me.... Pretty much any name DB is an improvement and Sherritt is still out there... so still time for them to improve

This isn't Taman like signings.... we didn't over spend by 50 - 100 to get a short term player... we didn't lose any draft picks either and most of the guys we signed are young.

Buck was an above average QB... I would say he had a Jason Maas like career. Didn't reach the same ceiling as Khari , just one level lower IMO.

We didn't over pay for anyone we are doing fine. Still lots of talented guys we can pick up for depth

Just heard on the radio that huff took a cheap shot on us? Hasn't BC signed more guys then us? Also they said that Moore signed for multi years , Chad Owens changed his twitter account to a pic of a lion and that Cummings is still being looked at.

Interesting move for the Riders, I'm guessing no more Getzlaf? Also 1 year only?

Keeping is an upgrade over Picard so no problem for me with that signing

So far really good guys... kind of makes us forget about the Macho Harris signing lol. I wonder if they sign a big receiver still though....

Those guys are going to get flipped also to other teams... massive salary dump for the Leafs.

This is a huge trade... mainly for the salary dump by the Leafs.

I wonder if Chad Owens finds a new team....

My Leafs co workers are jumping for joy.... apparently they are not retaining any salary at all either. From the more knowledgeable hockey guys in the office it seems like this trade was great for the Leafs since they will likely re-trade some of the guys they got for more prospects and they unload that awful contract. The Sens lose a better stay at home d-man and take on a crappy contract on a player who is rapidly diminishing.

I'll take 5 B level players over signing 2 A level players. This team lacks depth big time....

I think the extra money would be better spent on the d-line... I'd rather they over pay for Laurent then for Harris..

You are not impressed with the Kane trade , the guys we have drafted, and the contracts he already extended?

My main point about Messam was that the Blue won't sign the guys who will make top coin (Laurent, Harris) and instead would pick the 3rd or 4th best options since the free agent list is quite deep.
