I can only agree with that last part, but just about me. My post was full on snark. Leave the rest of the board out of this. But what you're arguing doesn't really make much sense. Garcia JUST got here. He hasn't had a sniff of the CFL in a long while. As far as I know he doesn't have any coaching experience either. Compounding on his lack of credentials (of which none are coaching), you are also midway through the season, any coordinator change would mean essentially canning any kind of system they had in place. That or they make him the OC of a system he had nothing to do with. Realistically you have to go with Dinwiddie for now.

This isn't a depth chart.

Hard to get majors without a run game. This team will win more often when we score points early and make the other team pass (the more points the better). Otherwise it will be tough. I know we've won some comeback thrillers, but it'll be hard to win consistently like that.

what is the gin of choice in the do or die household? Bombay....the immortal Ritch Dowrey known as - 3rdDown, persuaded me to switch..... Always think of him when we play BC. One of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Wonder if he's getting better at all? Anyone know?

CFL investigating EJ Kuale - obscene gesture after Ticats game
BBlink replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Sorry but no, even when the team signed Kuale I didn't get it and thought it was a useless move. He is a proven veteran that has had nothing but a great attitude since he get here. It turned out that he was our best option and best fit in our defense coming out of training camp (along with Ian Wild). Is he an all-star? No. But in our defense the MLB plays a much tougher role than on other teams, and doesn't have nearly the amount of traditional linebacker help against the run. So i'd like to give the guy a break. -
CFL investigating EJ Kuale - obscene gesture after Ticats game

I've noticed him out there. He had that interception against BC, and he has been making some bone-jarring hits. Another case where fans turn on a player when they do one bad thing... -

I don't see any reason whatsoever to take JFG out for Watson at this point. Watson is still a better player than JFG. Moore and Watson will be big upgrades to the receiving core once they are both healthy. Kohlert is also a steady NI receiver, but if anyone may be relegated to the 3rd NI receiver it would be him IMO. I know I'm going to take flack because Kohlert is essentially the new Stoddard (actually, more skilled than Stoddard), but all of our receivers catch the ball extremely well.

Still don't really like how Grigsby is completely unable to break a tackle. But he's doing a pretty good job bouncing outside outrunning everyone. Also a decent threat to catch the ball, it seems...

Agreed Hamilton really hung in there for a while because of special teams. Hajrulahu had a tough day punting the ball. A couple he drove right to the returner. He also did it once on the kickoff after the safety. The cover team needed more time to get down there. Medlock seemed to get more hangtime.

I think Denmark will have to have a huge game this week.
-
On the plus side the Bomber coaching staff has an entire game of seeing how LeFevour runs an offense. Should be no excuse if they don't have a good gameplan...

Calvillo's gone and the Allouettes aren't the same team? Who could have predicted that?

I've always thought of Romby as a deep threat receiver only. Not sure he is going to make the clutch catches that he needs to make at slot.

Normally there are one or two Eastern teams that get into the top 4 of the power rankings throughout the year. This year it has literally been the West absolutely dominating the East, top to bottom.

I believe that is our one and only Holoman Indeed. Listened to the show as it was posted on FB yesterday. Pretty good. I especially liked it when one of the hosts went on a tirade about how Rider fans don't need their tires pumped.

And that's what I have liked to see from Willy so far. He always keeps his eyes downfield. That said, I think Willy has had some opportunities to run that he hasn't quite capitalized on. It was good to see him do it in the final drive last night.

Wonder where on the depth chart Donavon Kemp is... I believe he plays the slot position, he's behind Nick Moore. Thank you. Didn't realize that he was practicing as a slot. Makes sense.
-
A little better than Bauming's phrasing: "Aaron Kelly is MIA from #Bombers practice today. Romby Bryant taking first team reps at Kelly's boundary WR spot." Can we stop using "MIA" when someone isn't practicing? Makes it sound like the player has zero excuse and has left the team or something.

More like the Ticats making room to bring in Will Ford.

We have younger and better guys throughout the lineup. Can't really justify keeping him. Sad tho

Travis Lulay to begin season on six game IR

Matt Dunigan seems to think he isn't going to be able to recover, ever...unless he has cleared the air on his statements that i'm not aware of.
