  1. Add me to the "best player" contingent. Within reason though. Need can factor in
  2. DT Zach Anderson -I wasn't too impressed with how much pressure we got from the d-line this year...nor how well we stopped the run at the line of scrimmage. A lot of people blame our linebackers. I think we have to get better on the defensive line too. We hitched our wagon to Turner and Vega this year and I didn't think they had the impact we hoped. Anderson didn't get a lot of playing time this year, so I think he should still get a shot going into next year. Wouldn't shell out big bucks for him though. WR Romby Bryant -Pass here. Don't know if he gives us anything except for the occasional crossing route. So basically Brock Ralph. QB Brian Brohm -I'm unsure about him. I personally don't think that he will ever be a #1 guy, so I wouldn't be surprised if they try to find someone better to bring in. CB Matt Bucknor -Yes. 100x over yes. Very solid wide side corner. LB Mike Cornell -Who? Well he's Canadian so he has that going for him...I guess... LB Desia Dunn -His versatility is useful and he seems like a "coach's player". A steady guy overall. His time might be up though as he's not really an impact player and we have talented DBs...pass. OL Gord Hinse -Canadian offensive lineman...but I don't know too much about him. OL Glenn January -His willingness to be here and take a "hometown" salary may keep him on the team. It's scary to not try to sign every offensive lineman that we have before we have a steady guy to replace him. Jace Daniels could be that guy. WR Aaron Kelly -We need to find better receivers...either in free agency or from down south. QB Josh Portis -Know nothing about him LB Johnny Sears -Obviously sign him. He would be near the top of my list of impact players. LB Rene Stephan -Would sign him but only for a discount. OL Devin Tyler -A guy that came in and did a decent job. Might be worth bringing back. RB Carl Volny -Special teamer and fan favourite to be the next great Canadian running back...(lol). Would keep him around. DB Demond Washington -Phenomenal athlete. Needs to hone his craft a bit more. Thought Bruce Johnson was better but maybe I'm not giving him enough respect. Demond Washington can be an impact player when he's not taking stupid penalties or fumbling the ball. Was part of a very good secondary this year. Overall we obviously need to bring him back...and I think he can be even better. LB Ian Wild -I don't think he's an elite linebacker but he's pretty good. Gotta bring him back.
  3. Bring some of those defensively linemen back that played in that last game. Our defensively line was a let down for me this year. Vega and Turner were pretty invisible
  4. Guys get injured. Just happy we are going to have another impact player in our stable. Hope him and Moore can stay healthy for next season. Will make our offence a lot better
  5. They have better Canadians than us in their first year..
  6. Thus is super sketchy. Oh well not a huge loss
  7. O-line wasn't great.. But was okay this game. One thing that troubles me is how slow the snaps are getting back. Hard to beat a blitz when the ball is moving slower than the rushers breaking through our line
  8. We still have hope and more or less control our own destiny for playoffs. That's good enough for me.
  9. Ignoring the Stoudemire thing... The only thing I recall Volny doing well is fumbling. I think he needs to prove himself a little more before becoming the #1 back.
  10. Interesting about Renaud. I thought he was on the verge of being able to play? Are we able to trade him if he's on the 6 game injured list?
  11. If you're saying they had to change the types of routes they asked from that position to suit the player then you're really not disagreeing with me. He was really good at running a particular route, therefore was given more opportunities there. It's actually a route that not all of our receivers are suited to. He's one that can do it. Does that make him less versatile, or more versatile? Surely a player's YPC does not determine their versatility, just shows more or less what they are being primarily used for.
  12. JFG's YPC is low because he was largely being given swing and shoot routes (and he was pretty effective at them).
  13. They may as well call it Guaranteed 200-Yard-Rushing night. More free tickets for BC fans?
  14. Give. Me. A. ****ing. Break. Serious lol on that one
  15. They were saying it was the lowest scoring game since 1979
  16. If you're wrong then so help me...
  17. Gotta love how Ottawa has to go through the rain and BC may get the ball when the weather dies down...
  18. Everyone likes the royal blues better
  19. The dirty little secret about the CFL is that comissioners serve at Braleys leisure so what's to say that Cohon isn't leaving because he took a stand against lord Braley? Anything is possible, that's why I stated that I may be overreacting. It would be terrible though for a new commish to move in and have to pick up blame for the Argo situation.
  20. Now I may be overreacting but isn't it interesting that Mark Cohon is getting out of dodge now? It's all well and good that the CFL is healthy in a lot of markets, and that they are back in Ottawa, but if they end up losing Toronto (I know. Likely won't happen but), then a lot of this has to fall on Cohon's shoulders. Even if they don't lose Toronto, the state that their franchise has been left in is terrible. Seems a bit cowardly on Cohon to quit now.
  21. Riders are in tip top form when they are getting away with holding and offside on every play. It's their bread and butter
  22. It was the right call. Defense has to take the heat for this loss
  23. Not a gif but
