  1. I believe it was Dunigan that said they should go with BLM because he is more durable
  2. So I take it you're all Aaron Kelly lovers
  3. The media always end up ganging up on this kind of crap. Good luck, Edmonton.
  4. Wild will not be benched. I feel like he will be seeing a lot of first downs.
  5. Wonder if we'll try to scoop up Woodson?
  6. Did somebody say Meggett
  7. Tate and Mitchell fighting for who is worse?
  8. Brett Maher should out kick Palardy easily. Unfortunately he had the FG miss
  9. Chad Johnson doesn't have the legs for the CFL (anymore)
  10. I hope Browning doesn't crap the bed.
  11. Thank you blitzmore for your contributions.
  12. What did he say about Dell?? They asked him if Dell was in future plans (i.e. PR) at all and he said no and then said they basically didn't manage things properly and brought him in too close to cutdown day to even give him a chance. Seems weird. So why not give him a chance on the PR?
  13. 30 year olds probably don't want PR spots. Didn't realize he was that old. Makes sense then.
  14. The most exciting part in all of this is that the current staff determined that the 3 QBs they brought in here during the offseason are better than our starting QB last year. Hope that's actually the case.
  15. That's a surprise to me. Thought Jaymar Johnson showed enough to be given a PR spot.
  16. These end up training camp cuts always come with a boatload of questions. Who among those aren't cut are hurt and will be cut when they're healthy? Who among the injured will be on the roster when they're healthy, and who will be released because of that? Which cuts are going on the PR? etc. etc. There are a couple conclusions we can draw right now, but most likely we are going to have to wait until Sunday before we can make the rest.
  17. I would imagine he'll be one of the PR players. You can't expect a guy to show up last minute and be put right into the lineup. He has to learn first.
  18. You have to remember that just because someone did not make the team as a starter for week 1 doesn't mean that they can't be a starter down the line. It is kind of nice to think that at the very least we have guys that are capable starters for week 1 and we will have guys on the practice roster pushing them. I don't think that's a fail in scouting at all. That's how most teams work.
  19. Not necessarily. Some people will be put on the IR.
  20. Weird timing on this for sure.
  21. Some people are saying that is a failure on recruiting…what if it's success by Kelly? The Bombers last successful days, Jamie Stoddard was a mainstay at 5th WR. A sticky hands guy without much flash that just caught whatever was thrown to him as a 5th receiver. Why not Kelly? Queue the Stoddard love You called? You must be so conflicted. Haha.
  22. I have a feeling Edmonton may be better than people think this year
  23. 17to85: I like how you bolded everything except for the part in brackets at the end of my sentence and chose to ignore it for argument sake. Wow
  24. Some people are saying that is a failure on recruiting…what if it's success by Kelly? Kelly gets way too much flack here (beating a dead horse), being a guy that came in midway through the season last year and looked pretty decent (in bursts, of course). I say let the chips fall where they may. He will likely be the starting WR come the first game of the season. What I like about this management team is that they are constantly looking to get better, and that is for every position.
  25. Nobody has outplayed Aaron Kelly at the wideout position yet.
