He played. I noticed his # a few times during the game, he was only credited with 1 tackle though.

You could argue the defense bent and broke at times we would've liked them to have not. Obviously. But let's also factor in how long they were on the field in certain situations. How many times they made a stop only to have the O put them right back on the field.
We need a few players (a DT, a DE and maybe a guy to replace Demond) but other than that our D is VERY solid. They just need to get a little more time on the sidelines courtesy of our offense.
The offense is atrocious and even with Drew Willy, we were hindered. Bellefeuille was a terrible OC during his time here and I'm glad to see him gone.
I was just about to mention this. Any defense that is on the field as much as ours was, is going to give up yards & points.

The Bombers assumed that Willy would have a breakout season this year and paid him for it with a $425K salary next year. He had a contract in place for this season. I doubt he'd get anywhere near $425K if we were negotiating a new contract now. FA QB's this year will be one of Ray or Harris, Lulay and Nichols. Glenn reportedly has a deal with Montreal in place but he could go to FA too.
According to the CFL website saying he's under contract through 2016 with Montreal. To be fair, the website (which is pretty unreliable at the best of times) only quotes a TSN employee rather than an official press release, so I guess it's possible that he's still ends up as a FA.

Hopefully we've seen the last of Hajrullahu as a place kicker with this team.
I disagree... hopefully we've seen the last of this sophomore slump... and see him back to form next year... definitely need to be at TC...
I would bring him back to camp, especially considering he'll be much cheaper than what we would have been offering him a year ago.

TSN had a interesting question so who would you give the team canada C to?
personally I'd go with Toews, because as a captain hes been nothing but gold (and 3 cups).
I think Crosby is the better player, but I think Toews is a better leader kinda makes me think of the Gretzky/Messier duo and Messier wore the C
The only time that happened was the one year they played together in New York (96-97). Messier had been the captain for 5 years already at that point, it had nothing to do with leadership. Gretzky didn't even wear A for the Rangers, although he did briefly wear the C in 98 after Mess left, and Leetch (the actual captain) was hurt.

It was pretty bad and ticket sales reflect that. They clearly set up for sequels but if they actually get made, they will not be released in theaters.

The point of celebrities going public is to eventually make it a non-issue like it should be. The fact that there are ZERO current or former NHL'ers that have come out proves that it's still doesn't have the acceptance level it needs to.

I hope he gets more than pity votes. Not to take anything away from Sinopoli as he had a career season, but he was just one of four Ottawa receivers to crack 1000 yards while hauling in passes from this year's (most likely) MOP. Imagine what kind of numbers Westerman could have put up if he had any kind of help?
