*Note: a win this weekend would clinch a playoff spot for the Blue Bombers for a seventh straight season, their longest run since a 17-year streak ended in 1997.
- Zach Collaros is 6-0 in his career in Labour Day Classic games – 3-0 during his days in Hamilton, 1-0 in his one season in Saskatchewan and 2-0 in Winnipeg. In those games has a 13:3 TD-to-interception ratio while passing for 300 yards three times and over 400 yards in 2015 while with the Ticats.
- The Blue Bombers are 24-3 against West Division clubs since 2021.
- A victory in Regina this weekend would give the Blue Bombers a winning record on the road for the third consecutive season, matching a mark last set from 1960-62.

How would we rank the current "starting QB" for each team as of this week? Is this accurate:
Chad Kelly VAJ Dru Brown Jake Maier McCheese Dustin Crum Tre Ford Caleb Evans Taylor Powell Jake Dolegala (too unknown to rank) It is a pretty sad state of affairs at the moment. Dru Brown would definitely help some of those teams on the bottom end. I can accept that argument that playing for the Bombers makes Dru Brown look better. But I also have no doubt that at this point he would be an improvement over any of the bottom 3, maybe 4 guys on that list.

Pigrome looked decent in an exhibition game, while Brown has two games where he has thrown for over 300 yards with multiple TDs and posters are saying we should have kept Pigrome and Brown stinks? To them, I say

I don't think so.... I remember a home game against Toronto where we played all three - LeFors, Bryan Randall, and Richie Williams. And they were all terrible, though that wasn't really their fault. Michael Bishop was signed shortly thereafter.
Joe Mack era I recall we had a game where Pierce and Brink both got hurt and Joey Elliott had to play. Next game after that I believe they dressed Joey Elliott, Justin Goltz, and Zac Champion at QB as a result.
