Move Trouba to the left side. Problem solved... -
Compare building a football team to building a car. The OL is the engine. Receivers are the spoiler. So having big receivers make you look like a ******?

I'm not sure why either. 7 sacks in 14 games isn't bad. He shouldn't be the best DE on your team, but IMO there's nothing wrong with him being part of a rotation on our dl.

Peach was better than Vega last season. I guess they didn't blame it all on injuries.
-
Wowzers on Vega! Thought he'd get a chance to redeem himself.

I'd take Doan, but it would really depend on what pick we give up. He's a 3rd liner now and probably only has a year left in him. I wouldn't go higher than a 3rd rounder. I wouldn't want Lupul on my team at all, never mind giving up Enstrom for him. -

That's one thought but honestly I think that's a mistake. What if the jets are in a fierce battle for a playoff spot? They keep Buff and lose him for nothing? Losing him for nothing would be a massive mistake. It would be the Frolik distraction times 100. Must trade him this summer. Was there a "Frolik Distraction"? His status only came up every other day until the deadline passed. I wasnt personally distracted but the discussion was there. Are you saying you think everyone would ignore the pending UFA status of Buff as the deadline approached? Yes, it was discussed at times. That doesn't automatically mean it's a distraction. Buff is a much different deal that Frolik. Frolik's just another guy, whereas Buff is pretty much the face of the franchise right now. -

The Jets are dead. Long LIVE the Bombers!

It's hard to be as diehard about the Jets b/c they play so many regular season games. I don't mind missing Jets games during the season, but I'll never miss a Bomber game. A Jets playoff game is close to the same level as a Bombers game for me. -

I'm assuming the friend that taught gbill about goaltending is also shaping his opinion on Buff. -
Edmonton couldn't have had a much better week than they just had.

Buff's skating is fine. His straight line speed is very good. He doesn't have the quickest first step, but you can't expect that from a guy his size. A lack of quickness is exposed more at forward than on D. -
I can't see Demski being available at 11. I think Richards will be though if we still want to go receiver there.

Buff's only regression this season was from Norris trophy level of play to his normal level. His points/gm avg. dipped slightly b/c he wasn't putting up any points as a forward. When he was back on D he was right on pace with previous seasons. I'd have no problem giving him an extension of 4-5 years. -

I've been around. Stl 6 Min 1 -
Just read on twitter that he got in the neighbourhood of $220k from Ottawa. That was $80k higher than the next best offer from BC.

Hall & Eberle for Postma & our 2nd round pick. Maybe bump that up to our 2nd 1st rounder if St. Louis makes the Finals.

He was very good in game 2. I thought he was just ok in games 1 & 3. -
I think we'll only start one rookie linebacker. I think Unamba probably has the inside track for the sam spot and we'll see a batte between Hurl & Newman for the wil position. They aren't exactly grizzled veterans, but they've got enough experience under their belts that they should (hopefully) be ready to take on starting roles. It's definitely the biggest question mark heading into camp though.

He had two plays over 55 yards last season.

Pretty sure Tburg's created an app that notifies him if there's a complaint about the media made here. I worry that he's trapped under something heavy if his standard "complaining about complainers" line isn't delivered within an hour of the first post.
