  1. faaaaaantastic...definitely coming home for that!
  2. After finally reading this, I have come to the conclusion that I really hope the players do hold out for everything they want. It's time to bring some balance to the equation, because the owners have way too much power, as it stands now. Sure the CFL owners don't make money, but virtually all pro sports teams lose money. Nobody buys one to make money...you buy one because of the "prestige" factor of being able to say you own a pro sports team, and usually it's a tax write off for them. So it's not like it's just CFL owners in this situation. I hope the CFL players get a massive raise out of this.
  3. ow ow ow ow ow....
  4. Tony Bennett's brother? No, that's Martin Short...
  5. How much would Taman love a situation like this? The guy LIVES for a PR stunt...
  6. already did. When CJ first came up with the OC nickname, Milt started calling himself Quarter Vingt Cinq-o...
  7. Maybe not but it's a lot of fun none the less. Doing it properly is half thru fun of the internet....
  8. This thread seems unnecessarily pessimistic, just for the sake of being an *******. Now, i'm usually all in favour of that scenario, but ehhh...
  9. I also would like to see this...but not as much as I'd like people to understand that it's Co-She, and not Couch-y...
  10. Ya you're a real hero Atomic...
  11. 100% truth and good to see Brown gets the idea that you don't sell the farm for a guy like Glenn. If he was free, or close to it, then sure...but not for any kind of real price.
  12. I like Kevin Glenn, but to give up anything of value is asinine...
  13. Lol...Desjardins drunk??
  14. this. Seems like a total lunatic with way too much baggage.
  15. Another Purdue boy, like Joey Elliott. The thing I like about Purdue, from what I've been told by NCAA people, is that they tend to run a pro-style offense, giving QBs a head start, in theory...
  16. Said to Dave this morning...this Buck move is great, if only to not "Khari-Up" the situation. Disgusts me to see KJ17 in another team's colours.
  17. Back on topic -- great for Buck, great for the team. This is a solid move all around.
  18. ...Team sent out a heads up email...no clue what. Odd time for a presser... *edit* Buck named RBs coach. Good for him...
  19. Why do people think that a player who is, for some reason, universally reviled among our fan base, will automatically be coveted by another team's GM in a trade?
  20. At the very least, having him as some sort of "Ambassador" for the WBB FC would be valuable. If he can be some kind of assistant coach, too, all the better. Definitely should be a Bomber for life.
  21. Football, maybe more than any other sport, is one where I don't mind the players asking for big money. The physical punishment and the brevity of careers means they need to get as much as they can while they can. Hopefully this all works out.
  22. I noticed the same out east in Ontario! Calgary has been known, for a long time, as "Toronto Of The West" and that statement couldn't be more true...
  23. Shame that injuries really derailed Boatman. I was a fan of McGee in his limited action, but certainly, there are many other options out there...
  24. I have no problem bringing him to camp, but if he's the starter out of camp, then we likely did something wrong in our recruitnig, or he had an absolutely lights out TC...
