I think the 4th quarter wasn't indicative of the Riders so much as the Stamps just taking their heads outta the game. Once momentum shifts it's real hard to turn the tide.

And you are wrong to do that. Game 1 was lost purely because of turnovers. Our offense generated more points for the riders via turnovers than the Riders offence did. Labour day I will concede the defense most of the blame, they let that last drive happen too easily. Banjo Bowl was again turnovers. The D got the offense the ball back twice in the dying moments of the game, the first one they threw a pick and that was basically it. Can't be turning the ball over like that and expect to win. And I really believe that injuries have a lot to do with the turnovers, too...

Me and my arch-enemy 'The Turnover' heartily disagree with you. This is biggest reason for the free fall the past seven weeks. One we have gave up a lot of turnover and conversely have not forced that many. Have to start winning the turnover battle this team at the moment is not good enough to lose it. Disagree. it's an atrocious movie. That scene where Wiig and the other broad are trying to one-up each other with the toasts....I couldn't watch that because it was SO uncomfortable. So horrible. The only redeeming thing in that movie is McCarthy being just disgusting, and even that's only a little bit funny. McCarthy really is the female Chris Farley....Farley did the SAME humour, and people worshipped him for it (...still do...)

If the Bombers are going to continue to tank this season, the Riders being thoroughly embarrassed in every way eases my pain...

re: Practice on Weds Oct 1 Not much to report other than Willy back at the controls and throwing with "zip" according to Friesen. Appears to be ready to go. Not much else being reported on Twitter...

I bought a Wii when they were still pretty new, but mostly as a social-gaming thing. I like to entertain, so it was a nice thing to have for groups of people at the house. Honestly, I spend more time "retro-gaming" than anything. I have a Retro Duo and Retro Trio (the Retro Duo plays NES/SNES games with SNES controllers....the Trio is new, it plays NES/SNES/Genesis games with any of the 3 controllers) and play a lot of the old EA NHL games from the mid 90s and some other stuff from back in the day, too...

Bridesmaids was such a piece of ****, and saved only by Melissa McCarthy being as filthy as she is...

Miles and miles of heart is masking a severe lack of talent right now...no question about that.

While I'd like to see Sears on the field as much as possible. If bruce is healthy he should play. He's been arguably our best DB this year. He most certainly has not. Randle has been the best and I don't think that's really up for debate. Johnson has been good no question about that, but has he been better than Washington? Not sure I can go that far. Was he any better than Sears was? Don't think I can say that either, has he been better than Leggett? Dunno about that either. Really what we have is a secondary that have all been doing quite a good job. Sears I wouldn't replace though, too much of a playmaker, gotta make room on the roster for guys like that. You know what "arguably" means right? I never claimed he was "the best". and Dave's saying that you can't even really make the "argument", for "reasons" that were "accurate".....Chris "Randle" has been our "best" DB all year by a "mile" and likely "the" best in the "league.....
