If the leak is indeed a Board member then it's easy to vet him out. Tell Lawless to give up the guy or he's not allowed access to any of the Bombers facilities, players & coaches for the rest of the time he works in the media. Let his boss at the Free Press know the same thing. If they both refuse then he can talk Jets hockey or tiddley winks for all I care. The mole has to be found as he is a cancer. This goes way beyond protecting a source.

The Ignore function for me is great as I don't have to read any more Goltz Man Love posts from road griller.

Not to be a smartass, but I'd argue the 1998 Stamps QB Trio of Garcia/Dickenson/Burris might be a tad better.

Add Flutie before that, and now Tate and possibly BLM and then I think about the Tee Martins and Russ Michnas and Ryan Dinwiddies and Michael Bishops and oh God I think I'm gonna cry...

I've lived in both Calgary and Vancouver.

    Calgary is more like Winnipeg.

Cheaper than Vancouver, and you will NEED a car to get around.  You'll be able to mostly afford to live your 'Winnipeg lifestyle' other than going out to the lake in the summer.  Restaurants are much like Winnipeg's and no PST is a big advantage.  The country thing it highly overdone during Stampede and there are other music options.  Cold winters with some Chinooks to warm things up (If you suffer from migraines you will get a doozy every time).  Ski in Banff.  A little hard to make friends, but everyone is your friend during Stampede.  Way better sports town than Vancouver.

    Vancouver isn't anything like Winnipeg.

The best way to live here is to give up your 'Winnipeg lifestyle' and move into a small condo close to downtown.  You don't go out to the lake in the summer, you walk to the beach.  You don't drive to a restaurant or bar, you walk there and stumble home.  The city is built with small neighbourhoods, each with most everything you need within walking/biking distance.  Any further and you take the Skytrain or the Seabus.  Lots of downtown folks give up their cars and use 'Cars to Go' when they need one for an afternoon.
Restaurants are way BETTER than either Winnipeg or Calgary.  Every conceivable type of food is available in most neighbourhoods.  Cheap?  Nope.  Taxes are high as are fees and especially real estate.  Winters are wet, but you don't have to shovel it and you can get rid of all your winter gear unless you want to go home for Christmas.  You can ski on the north shore or take the train/bus/Rental Car up to Whistler.
Vancouver is all about being outdoors.  Everyone here is from somewhere else, so it's easier to make friends, especially if you sign up to play team sports.  If you are interested in looking at the downtown neighbourhoods check out my website: http://terryburgess.ca/.  I'd suggest the West End (close to beaches and restaurants (Also Pride central so avoid if that bothers you)), Yaletown (Aka Yuppietown lots of restaurants/bars) , or Kitsilano (Beach lifestyle to see and be seen) for 20 somethings.  BTW: The hippies moved out of Vancouver years ago (other than the Profs at UBC).  You'll find them on Salt Spring Island now.

I'm not going to say Goltz deserves credit for four rushing touchdowns because a couple of those were in goal line situations Pierce led them to, but Pierce is still an awful quarterback.

I know we're splitting hairs here but really, Goltz is better now and likely in the future.

That being said, I still think Max Hall is the end-game here and I still think we're just keeping him from being thrown to the wolves before Gary figures his **** out.

This has been my biggest beef with Mack.  While I fundamentally agree that drafting and developing players in your system .. within your organization .. is key to long term success .. it does nothing to address immediate need.  We were a team that lacked quality non-import depth .. we needed bridge players .. guys who could come in for a few seasons while we replenished draft picks and allow those picks to go through a few camps .. it's pricey in the short term but it's a balanced approach to building a team that's competitive now and in the future.

Irving's book he did back around 2005 is pretty solid as well. I try to read that every couple years. Also, nice Victoria Beach mention...we've been owners down there since about 1925.

Man trust me, the word is getting out. I have spoke to a bunch of OB members in the last few weeks and all of them cannot stand that guy anymore and I have sent PMs to tell them about this site. They are all passing it on to their friends on OB as well. I just logged in there again to see If Colin had responded to my messages but of course he did not, but I looked around and the whole site is just a few posters bitching . Shankman must have taken the weekend off but I suspect upon his return that half the active threads will either be deleted, locked or pp slapped for not staying on topic.

Tillman also played the victim vowed it never happened and the truth would come out. Then he quietly admitted it was true.
He's flat out crazy. Defends himself on fan forums under aliases. He's nuts. Smug, arrogant.

Look at the Toronto staff, they have Milanovich there & Marcus Brady. In Calgary Huff & Dickenson. In Sask they have Cortez. How can young qbs not thrive with guys like that coaching them? This organization has never put a lot of importance on hiring a qb coach. Yet, they constantly try to develop the next Tom Clements or Matt Dunigan with no success. They seem to feel it's more important to have a running back coach over a qb coach. Or a receivers coach over a qb coach & where have we failed in development? At the qb position over & over. Connect the dots & it's easy to see the problem. But I honestly think the people that run this team are clueless. Smart football people get hired & then walk thru the doors to their offices at Canad Inns or IGF & dumb right down.

That's all we need to make this team a complete cluster****. Hire Tillman. Look at his time in Regina with his babysitter. His antics before & when he was in court. Then trades Ray away in Edmonton. God, I hope not.
