I wonder if Milanovich survives The Night Of The Long Knives? I think it's time for a head coaching change in Toronto.

weve made some confounding roster decisions, by play and production it should handily be smith on the outs.
The Bombers invested a lot of $$$ in Smith & that should be addressed in the off season. Right now, it should be all about winning & putting our best receivers on the field. I'll be very angry if MOS puts in Smith over Denmark once Gurley is on the roster. Denmark has done everything asked of him & more since he came back & deserves to be playing over Smith.

Very pleased with this signing. Definitely in need of a tall receiver. I just hope it doesn't cost Denmark his job.
Better not. If they release a player then it should be Smith.

MBRG pretty much nailed it in regards to explaining my post. I didn't say anything about you.
I'm glad that as there's been a few vocal critics of Willy. I'm not one of them even though I will admit I was happy to see him go for what we got in return. He's been given another chance with the Argos & has to make the most of it.
-
This is a very good signing for the Bombers. Gives us size & speed with our receiving corps. We needed this signing just to keep up with Edmonton & BC.
-
If he did that then throw the book at him with criminal charges & fire his ass out the door. Totally stupid & unprofessional.
-
So, I just want to be clear about something. That tweet about who threw the beer can... A Post Media journalist?? That's unbelievable.
-
Guess we'll see how serious Walters is about improving this team's receiving corps. As Dee said adding Gurley would change the offense immensely.
-
If the CFL really wants to sell the game make it affordable to buy game day tickets. I'm not saying end zone seats should be $5 or ten bucks. But decent seats shouldn't be nearly $85 per ticket like they are to sit on the 30 yard line at McMahon Stadium here in Calgary. It's almost as if the CFL has set pricing at a point they know will never sell but if they do is just a bonus. Or they just don't care anymore about attendance as there isn't much of a walk up crowd anymore..
-
It gets in the way of the play calling but if it's Rod Black that'll be a good thing.
-
These guys are available & the team should go after them. Our receiving corps needs upgrading. What's wrong with competition? IF we sign Gurley & Adams comes back then they have to compete for the starting spot. That makes them better & the entire offense better.

So it seems like a normal conversation to me and no one has accused you of being a bad person. I'd speculate that the line you think was directed at you was responding to some of the other sentiments expressed in this thread, but they weren't obliging enough to frame it as a question, which you did.
And at this point I'm pretty sure society would be much better off without the internet. It doesn't seem like we know how to use it.
Appreciate your thoughts mbrg regarding the internet & how things can get misconstrued. Never once have I wished Drew Willy bad luck, say I'd boo him or hope that he'd suck as an Argos qb. Mike could have said things a lot different as he intimates I will be booing Willy or want bad things to happen to him which I don't. So, I think his comments were directed at me.
My point is now that Willy plays for another team that he's just another player to me. I won't cheer for or against him. I don't wish him bad or good luck. I do hope he can stay clear of injury. If he does well I'll be happy for him. If he doesn't well that's just the way it goes. And for gosh sakes before someone says anything else here, please read my last post about the way I feel about Drew's courage coming back from his knee injury. Does that post even give a hint that I'm going to boo him or want bad things to happen to him???

Some of us don't boo a guy and wish bad things upon him simply because he didn't play good football for us.
Willy was a professional and a great guy in the community. I have no problem cheering for a guy like that when he's not playing us and I have no idea what goes on in the head of people who think he should be treated like the plague.
Where did I say I'd boo him or wish him bad things? I said I didn't care anymore. Did you even read what I thought about Willy's courage coming back after his injury on this thread? No mention of that. Just that you think I boo him & wish him bad things. That's wrong & you know it.

I will add this and them be done with the Willy talk. Drew Willy needs to find himself mentally this off season. If he can actually do that he has a chance to turn things around. If not... he's done. But to me his issues seem mental. I'm not sure that you can fix that
As for Reilly.... Reilly takes a beating... and played behind an arguably worse oline than Willy did his first year in Edmonton. Guess what... he got hurt. But he came back... he still takes a beating tho at times.... self inflicted or not... a big hit is a big hit. Reilly is just mentally stronger than Drew Willy
Reilly is Beast Mode compared to Willy. The man is a warrior & his teammates not only play with him; they play for him. He inspires confidence on the field. Can anyone say Willy is any of that?
Then again, who am I to say? I suffered a serious knee injury in 1975 where I tore every major ligament & cartilage in my left knee. It's called the Terrible Triad which was a life changer for me at 20 years of age. I never fully recovered from the injury. I had 3 knee operations in the first 5 years after the injury & another in 2003 on my right knee as I was wearing it out all the years since compensating for the left.
Out of outright fear I gave up a lot. I was pretty active physically before the injury especially as a skier. Used to play softball. Since the injury I have never been on skis again. I'll be honest, I don't think if I was a pro qb I'd have come back from that injury without being absolutely deathly afraid of suffering a second serious knee injury so not only would I have been messed up physically because of my knee injury but messed up mentally from just being scared. My CFL career would have been over.
So, Willy has a lot more courage than I have to even be on the field after the knee & leg injury he suffered in 2015. I certainly respect him for that. This is coming from a guy who truly knows how bad a severe knee injury can be.

Fantastic television. I love those times when all of Canada gets behind one team and social media explodes. So much fun...

MOS is quoted that he likes our receiving group so go figure. I'd prefer if he said the team is always looking to upgrade.

No idea what he's talking about. Never heard of a fanbus to Seattle. Google yields nothing. I can't even confirm that Stu Foord lives in Kelowna. It would be cool if there was a fanbus to Lions games. That might be worth doing.
It's ******* Pederson. There should be a moratorium on having to read his stories.
