This is the biggest issue for me.  Ok, you don't like O'Shea, you don't like Willy.  No reason to go into every thread and say the exact damn same thing.
Reasonable posters try to start a conversation about say, the receivers, and someone has to pipe in with "They'll never succeed with O'Shea calling the shots!  Now let me tell you again why I hate O'Shea..... (etc.)". It's just pointless and makes it impossible to have a conversation.

A few have suggested that your "What, who me" routine coupled with sarcastic and forced civility; could be the reasons why he is angry...
Or, or, or- you taking the higher road when in fact you are just as if not more guilty of travelling down that same road as everybody else.

2016 climate trends continue to break records

Two key climate change indicators — global surface temperatures and Arctic sea ice extent — have broken numerous records through the first half of 2016, according to NASA analyses of ground-based observations and satellite data.
Each of the first six months of 2016 set a record as the warmest respective month globally in the modern temperature record, which dates to 1880, according to scientists at NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) in New York. The six-month period from January to June was also the planet's warmest half-year on record, with an average temperature 1.3 degrees Celsius (2.4 degrees Fahrenheit) warmer than the late nineteenth century.
Each of the first six months of 2016 set a record as the warmest respective month globally in the modern temperature record, which dates to 1880. Meanwhile, five of the first six months set records for the smallest monthly Arctic sea ice extent since consistent satellite records began in 1979. This video is public domain and can be downloaded from the Scientific Visualization Studio. While these two key climate indicators have broken records in 2016, NASA scientists said it is more significant that global temperature and Arctic sea ice are continuing their decades-long trends of change. Both trends are ultimately driven by rising concentrations of heat-trapping carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
The extent of Arctic sea ice at the peak of the summer melt season now typically covers 40 percent less area than it did in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Arctic sea ice extent in September, the seasonal low point in the annual cycle, has been declining at a rate of 13.4 percent per decade.
"While the El Niño event in the tropical Pacific this winter gave a boost to global temperatures from October onwards, it is the underlying trend which is producing these record numbers," GISS Director Gavin Schmidt said.
Previous El Niño events have driven temperatures to what were then record levels, such as in 1998. But in 2016, even as the effects of the recent El Niño taper off, global temperatures have risen well beyond those of 18 years ago because of the overall warming that has taken place in that time.

The global trend in rising temperatures is outpaced by the regional warming in the Arctic, said Walt Meier, a sea ice scientist at NASA Goddard.  
"It has been a record year so far for global temperatures, but the record high temperatures in the Arctic over the past six months have been even more extreme," Meier said. "This warmth as well as unusual weather patterns have led to the record low sea ice extents so far this year."
NASA tracks temperature and sea ice as part of its effort to understand the Earth as a system and to understand how Earth is changing. In addition to maintaining 19 Earth-observing space missions, NASA also sends researchers around the globe to investigate different facets of the planet at closer range. Right now, NASA researchers are working across the Arctic to better understand both the processes driving increased sea ice melt and the impacts of rising temperatures on Arctic ecosystems.
NASA's long-running Operation IceBridge campaign last week began a series of airborne measurements of melt ponds on the surface of the Arctic sea ice cap. Melt ponds are shallow pools of water that form as ice melts. Their darker surface can absorb more sunlight and accelerate the melting process. IceBridge is flying out of Barrow, Alaska, during sea ice melt season to capture melt pond observations at a scale never before achieved. Recent studies have found that the formation of melt ponds early in the summer is a good predictor of the yearly minimum sea ice extent in September.
"No one has ever, from a remote sensing standpoint, mapped the large-scale depth of melt ponds on sea ice," said Nathan Kurtz, IceBridge’s project scientist and a sea ice researcher at NASA Goddard. "The information we’ll collect is going to show how much water is retained in melt ponds and what kind of topography is needed on the sea ice to constrain them, which will help improve melt pond models."
Operation IceBridge is a NASA airborne mission that has been flying multiple campaigns at both poles each year since 2009, with a goal of maintaining critical continuity of observations of sea ice and the ice sheets of Greenland and Antarctica.
At the same time, NASA researchers began in earnest this year a nearly decade-long, multi-faceted field study of Arctic ecosystems in Alaska and Canada. The Arctic-Boreal Vulnerability Experiment (ABoVE) will study how forests, permafrost and other ecosystems are responding to rising temperatures in the Arctic, where climate change is unfolding faster than anywhere else on the planet.
ABoVE consists of dozens individual experiments that over years will study the region's changing forests, the cycle of carbon movement between the atmosphere and land, thawing permafrost, the relationship between fire and climate change, and more.

There will always be posters who will try to diminish what the Bombers have done in any won game. What's not surprising is the two who did try. The Bombers didn't 'need' 6 turnovers to beat the Ticats...they caused, at least 5 of those. They like to point out a dropped TD catch by the opponents, but not not count a miss on a wide open receiver, in the end zone, for our team. They'd rather underline a 'lucky bounce' on a kickoff attempt, rather than give credit for heads up play by an oft-criticized veteran player. No, that doesn't count.
And, as you pointed out, the Bombers, with their history, easily could have wilted with that ten-point swing to open the game...but they didn't. I bet you those two posters expected the likes of Simoni Lawrwence and the rest of the (at that time) league-leading sack kings to destroy our O-line and pulverize Drew Willy. Instead, they got 2.... and 1 of those was on a slippery ball fumble. BUT! No credit there either...just those 6 turnovers and lucky bounce. 
You know what? I think they're actually disappointed. I was wondering which 'fans' would bring up those statistics, and, as usual, I wasn't disappointed who did.

That is also something you did.  On page 7.
Hamilton has one of the stronger defences in the league and their success comes from massive pressure generated by the front 7.  By intentionally dinking and dunking, Willy did not have the ball in his hands long enough for that pressure to become a factor.  It is called a game plan.  It is nearly the perfect game plan against Hamilton.  In past years we didn't have the personnel to execute it effectively.  This year with Smith and Harris, we do.
Of course the defence also played a huge role in the win.  As did special teams.  Almost like it's a team game...

Having a temper tantrum (not talking about your original post Brandon, I'm talking about the posts after) is not going to change anything.  Complain in a constructive way at least.  If you want the coach fired, give us reasons why and who you think could actually come in here to replace him at this point?  Want Willy gone?  Tell us who's going to replace him, and don't say Nichols, cause he lost most of the games he started last year so I doubt he's the hope anyone is looking for.  Those of you who say to pull Willy for a while and let Nichols in for a few rounds so Willy can watch from the sidelines and maybe see some things he's not seeing on the field...bravo, that is how to be constructive.

Been painful to try and read some of the commentary on the forum. I understand why people are frustrated, but it doesn't make it any easier to read all the sky is falling stuff that filled the threads over the weekend.
We lost on Friday - indisputable and to say we put in a good showing would be a stretch. But that's just about where the comparisons of this year's offense against last year's start and end. When I watched our offense last year, I saw an OL that couldn't block, predictable play calling and an unimaginative, uninspired effort. I didn't see receivers getting open or an offense that I thought was capable.
What did I see on Friday? I saw a QB who had a terrible showing. But I also saw an OL that gave him adequate time for the most part, I saw receivers getting open, I saw play calling that made sense. But it all unraveled because our QB couldn't hit the open guys when he needed to.
Last year, we'd frequently go two and out because we'd run a 6 yard curl pattern on first down then run square into the back of the line on 2nd down for no gain. On Friday, I saw us go two and out because Willy was missing the plays that were there to be made. There's a clear difference.
I went back and watched the game yesterday. He missed Adams twice. McDuffie once. Smith twice, including one that would've been a sure 75 yard touchdown. The plays were there to be made because our QB got the time he needed to throw, the play call was the right one and the receiver got open. The QB just simply didn't make the throw. That wasn't the issue with our offense last year.
Considering our QB has shown a history of being able to make those throws in the past, I'm willing to cautiously chalk up that game to a poor QB performance. My hope now is that we see starting on Friday that it was a one off. Call it garbage time all you want (it wasn't) but I'm glad he at least got things on track in the fourth quarter because we needed something to build on. To see him come back after all those off target deep balls and connect with Adams for once and Davis for another one late in the game was something that will be very important for Drew.
Now on to next week. Willy has to be better. Simple as that.

I get not wanting to get your hopes up with nothing proven yet, and I even get having some concerns (obviously) based on past efforts, but when the most positive thing you can say about your QB and team is, "they're awful, but I hope I'm proven wrong," I think maybe you need a little bit more optimism in your life.

Maybe I'm just a naïve idiot, but I still think Willy's got what it takes, and that he'll learn this system and play well in it. The legit question is his health, and if he misses lots of games again this year, I definitely think that's it for him in Blue and Gold.
But when the guy is able to play a whole game, more often than not he's bringing us W's.
