It's weird that with all the teams that are even more desperate for OL help than we are ... BC, Hamilton, Edmonton ... you'd figure someone would make a move to get Peach. When was the last time a CFL team raided another team's practice roster?

Raw punting yardage doesn't tell the whole story. What's his net yardage after returns and how many times has he punted out of bounds with no return? How do these numbers compare with the rest of the league's punters? Answer those questions and I think we'll have a better idea of how good our punting game is. (Edit: yeah, pretty much exactly what iso said)

Remember that the worst of the OL play came with Goossen subbed in at guard. Guy is still super raw. It's not our starting OL that worries me, it's the depth. If Greaves or any other starter is out for any length of time, that lack of depth will be exposed.

I don't get how this kind of transaction would work. Once the player is released, they're a free agent, they don't have a contract anymore for the NFL team to take over. Would it be a conditional thing where the CFL team makes the release conditional upon the player signing a deal with an NFL team?

They'll regress from the heights of week 1, but it'll be enough. Bombers by 3 in a yawner. BC at Montreal. Yikes. Where do you even start if you're Tom Higgins? BC by 14. Hamilton at Edmonton. I think Hamilton is better than they showed last week, but not good enough. Edmonton by 7. Sask at Toronto. The Argos D got eviscerated last week by the Bombers and I think Saskatchewan has a better O than Winnipeg. Ray will put up some points but it won't be enough. Riders by 10.

Riders have the best OL in the league and a running QB -- they'll be fine with whoever at RB. Picking the Riders today for that reason, although very intrigued to see how Collaros does when he's the man.
