I saw a game a few weeks ago with the LA Kiss playing the Spokane Somethings or Others. I turned it off when Gene Simmons came on as a commentator as it made the putrid football I was watching so much the more terrible. I was wondering how long it would be before Gene and his gang turned their football team into another self-glorifying fake "reality" show, and sure enough, it's just been announced they are doing one with the football team. That guy has to be self-promoting 24/7. Anyway, he's doing for the AFL what Murray Pezim did for the CFL, in other words, making it much worse. The only AFL I like watching is Aussie Rules - go Dockers!!

I watched that hit on Willy several times and it's actually mystifying what Grigsby was thinking there as he watches Gavins just run by him. That kind of "non-block" on that play leading to your QB getting smoked is a career killer. Ask Corey Boyd if you don't believe me.

I agree. There was no reason for Willis to smoke Collaros like that. With good QB's at a premium in this league that kind of bullshit just can't be tolerated. Look at the other extreme - Vega could have KO'd Burris the same way with the free shot he had but instead he held up to avoid a fine/penalty and ended up with Burris tossing it into the stands. I think that in the future, where the QB is in the grasp, the play should be dead immediately. Burris got away with two of those last week where our guys tried to stay in the bounds of legality and lost two sacks because of it. Good on our guys for keeping a quality QB alive, but on the other hand, they deserved those sacks because of it.

They just need to bring in a horde of TFW's to do the work that Canadian workers are too lazy to do and the stadium will be finished pronto. Same thing goes on in their restaurants every day. Otherwise the toilets would be permanently plugged and no one would wipe up the doughnut vomit.

Yeah I was thinking that too. I just can't see messing with the Defence right now - especially with Goosen and Swiston around to play guard. If we can't start either of those guys, what's the point of them taking up a roster spot? I can see we're still developing Goosen but it's poop or get off the pot time with Swiston, if he is actually healthy (and if not healthy, then he should be on the IR).

So in other words - "this year we are actually being coached".
