  1. I closed my eyes during that interview and saw Peter Griffin.
  2. six months older. They are both 21. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teuvo_Teräväinen
  3. http://www.thehockeynews.com/blog/five-fantastic-and-true-gordie-howe-stories/
  4. Cone's first mistake was enrolling in the Kamau Peterson CFL boot camp in the off-season...
  5. for that reason alone he deserved the Cup, playing 11 on D all year long. Cauchy Muamba couldn't tackle a dandelion when he was here, yet he somehow now has two Cup rings. Where is the karma in that?
  6. He's from Dawson Creek. This will just make his popularity increase there. Believe me, I've spent enough time up there.
  7. Not to defend this guy, but it was a month ago that he put forward the motion. Not just today as this tweet seems to imply. That being said, even though it was a month ago, it is ridiculous and I don't agree with it, or any assault rifle for that matter being made easier to obtain.
  8. No, and I don't think he's really advocating for it either. The only idea he had that made any sense was bringing in an army of doctors and teachers to try and break the current generation away from the fundamental Islamic mind set that traps these people in this life style. You should read Infidel by Aayan Hirsi Ali. What's scary about that book is that she almost got trapped in an arranged marriage and forced to live under the precepts of Sharia law, where she would be chattel. She escaped by getting off a plane in Holland. Where was that plane headed, that was going to force her into a life of human bondage? To Toronto. That's the scary part. But let's all put our hands over our eyes and ears and pretend that this doesn't happen in Canada. And you should watch Homeland, you would love it.
  9. Iso - sounds like you would get along with this guy from the show Homeland (love that show BTW):
  10. yeah I head it on CNN too. There is so much talking head stuff going on here its tough to sift through what's right and what isn't. What I don't get is the denial going on here that this guy wasn't radicalized. Of course he was. Why is that even an issue here?
  11. Some first cuts are in as per CFL.ca.... 12. of course the Oilers would take them, as all of their draft picks other than Hall and McDavid suck.
  13. OK Jacquie, whatever helps you sleep at night. While you are combing the internet looking for stats proving that white male Christians are the true enemy of western society, could you also research why ultra-leftists are obsessed with ignoring the rise of Islamic fundamentalism? I'd be curious as to that answer too.
  14. Yes it would be nice all right, especially before the draft, just get it done.
  15. after watching Willy getting batted around like a piñata last night I have to wonder how long he's going to last again this year. He can't take that kind of punishment all season. That being said, it was strange that both Nichols and Bennett seemed to be going untouched. Nichols was getting the ball off a lot earlier than Willy. Willy has to get faster in his progressions, especially if he's going to have guys coming in unblocked on him on a regular basis.
  16. That Garth, he really does his research. What a great guy.
  17. yeah that's right. I got my years mixed up. That trade gutted the Red Wings, right after they had won the 1955 Stanley Cup. They were never the same after that. And there was now no one strong enough to stand up to the Montreal Canadiens, who won five straight cups in 1956 - 1960.
  18. Like to see Travis Bond on the OL somewhere. But it sounds like Neufeld was the weakest link last night.
  19. until Jack Adams traded away Ted Lindsay in 1957 because he wanted to start a player's union.
  20. Yeah Loffler starting would be huge.
