Me and my buddy I used to coach with are going to the grey cup. Finally made it happen. It’ll be our first one since starting to follow cfl when Olivera came up north. Looking forward to it! Hoping to have the bombers there but going to enjoy regardless. Figured you guys would understand the excitement.

He was corner

He was a corner. Never once played safety at und. He went into the draft at safety probably by advice of his agent 
 
our safety’s at und during his time were Cole Reyes, then Canady / galvin. I might be forgetting one in the middle but holm was always corner and special teams.

good advice if so....any draft profile I looked at said he was a FS or should be a possible prospect at FS....

Game speed and some fast guys aren’t 40 runners. Some guys are much faster 10/20 or 60/80 runners. 40 yards can fall between gears or some guys hit top speed too late. I find a lot of twitchy quick guys run 4.5 range. A guy like schoen has his speed line up perfectly for the 40. Iirc he’s our fastest wr by a lot in the 40. Have him race grant in a 60/80/100 and grant smokes him. Same in a 10/20. Not digging schoen by any means. He’s perfect for a certain range and incredibly good at playing that range. 
 
wasn’t holm mostly a S in college too or am I confused? I think he or Parker would  be excellent at s. But it is also great to have guys like that at Sam to chip in with the run game. 
 I really want to see us move on from some vets in the secondary next year. We know they can find turn key dbs in the league and in college. I love some of the vet dbs and what they’ve done for us and the mentality but yeah time to go young. 

Last year at the end of one practice Holm, Parker, Ford, and Grant were all coaxed into a 40 yd dash race as the team cheered them on. Winner: Evan Holm by a hair. It was very, very close and from the stands you couldn't tell who won from all 4. However, Holm got all the high 5s from teammates afterwards.

Rose worries me....either giving huge cushion.....or having guys run by him.

Rose tho, dude is done. So is BA. I suspect those 2 are not back next season.

How though? He'll probably be looking for money starting at $300,000. The Riders may look at him as a starter. Ottawa as well. 

Parker hadn't been perfect but he's out there trying to make plays. And that doesn't mean selling out for a pick. Sometimes he does bite a bit but then he's able to recover. He's also able to tackle which Rose can't do. He will get better. There is no way I'm taking him out of the lineup when Houston is back.

I really hope Parker stays in and Houston is an extra DB...

I just thought it was unfair to point out the elks returner out running Holm, when he literally out ran everyone. I mean it is just one example, but you have been pretty critical of Holm. 
WHat is it that you see Holm lacking that the coaches dont see

a viable replacement for the best receiver the league has seen in years........ **** YOU BOMBERS FOR NOT HAVING THIS READILY AVAILABLE!!! 
The only viable replacement for Schoen is Lawler..... to paraphrase Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore "...man, I'm glad I called THAT guy..."

I also want to add that I was super impressed with Parker’s speed on that play but no one has mentioned that holm was hardly a step behind him and he was coming off the ground! I thought that was just as awesome. I don’t think he’d have been in position to make a tackle before the end zone but it does say quite a bit about his speed.

I thought he swished on that one but on further review the ball popped up a bit so he probably made contact.  If he'd gone for the tackle initially I think he would have stopped him beyond White's FG range, but there is the possibility Rhymes carries him another 10-15 yards.

With agudosi i think it's a combo of the size and that first game. People get excited for that kind of thing. 
Reality is he needed to do more when he got his chance
