I think it’s a badge of honour that everyone wants you guys to lose… the Patriots, the Warriors, the Lightning, Astros, etc. people want them to lose because they win. They love em at first when they end a long drought or win an underdog title. But then, they keep winning, and people get tired of it. They want a new champion. 

Game 1 it was Rourke Rourke Rourke Rourke Rourke... game 3 it was again Rourke Rourke Rourke Rourke Rourke. And every time Zach collaros was like:

Agree with this. BC was beat up today, we physically dominated them last time out, and Wilson aside we have more starting bodies back now than perhaps at any time since the season opener. And even if some fans are overconfident and downplay the Lions’ talent O’Shea and the team will respect what Rourke can do and will be mentally and physically ready. We matched up well against them this year and it’s not cocky to say we should be solid favorites at home.  BC is rising but the Bombers are at the top and our descent has not started yet. 

They finished 1-6 against teams above them in the West. The one win came against VAJ 
 

Last thing I want, is to become a ******* footnote in Rourke's Cinderella storybook year... 
The Bombers better ******* bury the lions. Whatever, embrace the role of the wrestling heel equivalent- just ******* bury them and embarrass the **** outta them and show them that they are not even close to the same level as the Bombers.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are great and have not been tested by the Lions this year. Maybe next year, but they’re not on our level just yet.
