DougR got a reaction from Fred C Dobbs in Crossover Standings after Week 13
Back to back spankings are not fun. Our Bombers would still be the crossover team if the playoffs started next weekend.
Ottawa lost but, Hamilton won. Seeing both of those teams with 6-5 records today gives a Bomber fan some hope but, there are still 6 games left in the regular season. Should we be afraid of the Alouettes on the 21st? Thankfully we have next week off. We need a break from losing.

Alouette, gentille alouette, (Lark, nice lark,) Alouette, je te plumerai. (Alouette I will pluck you)
GO BOMBERS! Please win a game or two or three or four more.....

Isn't it funny how WINNING takes care of a lot of problems for a team?

Perhaps this team should worry first about playing 60 minutes and start with a one game winning streak.

Ottawa and Toronto have both won the Grey Cup as underdogs through the east. Get hot at the right at playoffs with the crossover and good things could happen

I'll have whatever he is drinking. Going 5-2 to close out the season? Never going to happen! After reviewing the last seven I think a 2-5 or 3-4 (given that the next to last game is with Calgary in the Peg and they will probably not be playing many starters) we could see 3-4 over the last 7. Then we might make the cross over and be one and done in the playoffs.

Riders have the season series? Edmonton have the season series? Did I sleep through 3 games?

Technically not. Edmonton and Sask have season series on Bombers. So 2nd and 3rd are currently out of reach. And riders have one more game then we do currently. So you're being to optimistic lol.

DougR got a reaction from Esks1975 in And this week's Hoser Award goes to .....
Wait...do you live down here in New Mexico? 😉 That is our line down here...ha ha
The Riders? Really? I had to pull out one of the airline barf bags I stole on my last flight when time ran off the clock. And I was listening to the game online. I have no clue what would have happened if I was watching the game.
What is happening? Even Montreal beat the East leading Redblacks and our team is struggling to hold onto the crossover position. We want to go that route through Hamilton and Ottawa....IF WE CAN WIN another game. 😉
Okay, back to my Labor...Labour Day off down here.
A video I did for my YouTube channel for my small town of Belen, New Mexico. Enjoy.

AMEN. I looked that up and almost posted it. The playoffs video just sounded right for this post. But, Dennis Green's (right?) rant was THE best ever. If the Bombers lose to the Stamps, maybe that should be posted???

I wouldn't call it "competing" without a win over the Stamps. Sitting at 5-5 (if the Bomber lose) with the following teams on the schedule - Riders (back to back), Montreal, Eskimos, RedBlacks, Riders, Stamps and finally the Eskimos again, a disaster is brewing. A disaster to me is missing the playoffs and joining the Alouettes and Lions on the couch watching the playoffs.
I can hear Jim Mora describing the Bombers right now in their current state and it's scary.

I believe, we hold the tie-breaker against the Leos
Our schedule says:
CGY 2x
EDM 2x
SSK 3x
OTT 1x
MTL 1x
I think there's hope, 3-4 wins should be doable... with Nichols or Streveller.
and remember, we hold the tie-breaker against the Leos

Their offense and defence is easily better than the Bombers. How can you even question that?

DougR reacted to Goalie in That was painful...
Its pretty close. Edmontons D is worse than ours. Eliminate or contain the duck and Chuck O and Edmonton i feel is over rated

I still picture us third in the west at the least. The standings as they are give us a chance.

I’m sorry but this Bombers team is not better than the Eskimos. Not going to happen.

Toronto's wins have come from Ottawa just falling asleep and beating a below average BC team... I'd love to see us with crossover
