I remember the times -- mostly Lapo times -- when fourth quarter leads were meaningless and the Bombers O simply couldn't close out games, we'd usually go 2-and-out when the chips were down.  hell, I think those Lapo teams were the inspiration for the "no lead is safe" catchphrase.
I don't have the numbers to prove it, but I think our clutch running game has won several games for us this year. If I had infinite time I'd look at how often Brady O. carries the ball in the fourth quarter of a one-score game -- my impression is that the higher the stakes, the more he gets the ball.

he's a decent pass rusher now, but it's basically just all a speed rush technique.....he was next to non existent prior to this year, and tailed off a bit once teams figured out his schtick and just adjusted to force him out wide and deep......is good in backside pursuit after yards are gained by a RB , but thats also do to his lack of recognizing or respecting run as well....which doesn't make him a great well rounded d lineman in my opinion...Where as you have a guy like Jeffcoat who will use speed/technique...But also just bully his way and over power guys to collapse a pocket....and WJ who uses a combo of everything, as well as leads league...again in knockdowns....Betts gets/got a lot of props and love like most of the lions did early in the year before they...mainly the defence got exposed to what it was...and teams adapted and abused them...especially in the run game
kinda hit on that in previous post while u were typing this....But when healthy...Jeffcoat is best D-lineman ....all around D-lineman in the league...hands down..Technique...Power...Containment...killer against the run....just the best

Whatever, your team record and Kelly's success is as much a result of the league giving you an incredibly soft schedule as it is from being worthy of it. You are about to find out that a season devoid of adversity tends to lead to lacklustre results in the playoffs. 

Hardly hiding anything..there nothing to hide....and what happened in that game was just total Ottawa choking and dieing as game went on...like most of theirs this yr
And wanted to maintain a 9-0 record at home is a crock ..who cares...they say their goofy QB against us as they didn't want him exposed...and neutralized by a legit defence...and hurt his frail lil psychic/ego...plain and simple
And what's with his B.S on sidelines toward his coaches...total disrespect and selfish attitude ...one among several there... previous to that knob tackle Cave...and other crap on sidelines...I smell an upset in the EF 

I don't come on here nearly as much as I used to because I find the negativity crazy. I just wanted to pop in on a bye week to remind everyone we're the only team in the league with a winning record the last 4 seasons. 3 grey cup appearances and 2 wins in the last 3.
 
It's ok to just enjoy the ride despite the flaws. We had years on end of awful teams and coaches to complain about.
 
Despite not being perfect, since 2019 this is the best franchise in the CFL. A few years ago it was a dream just to see a grey cup win, the idea that Winnipeg would become the top team in the league for years, unheard of. Enjoy it. Enjoy Saskatchewan losing every game. Enjoy Calgary trying to just scrape into the playoffs.

pretty sure nobody here cares about the Argo modern history....they are a sad sack city in support of the team....pretty much facts...with a population of that size in the greater area they should be packing that lil stadium

Riders fans are well known bandwagoners. They support winning teams but if the winning goes away for an extended period, the fans go away. Long history of that. 

or we go right off-script...show a bunch of new, and creative things....never to be seen again....but leave a lasting impression and something to think about

Yes the D has been pretty consistent the last little while but this offense had the most high end pieces they've had in  long while and when they are in the zone they can straight up embarrass a team.  Seriously the worst starting receiver is wolitarsky and he's a good ******* receiver who could put up bigger numbers in a place where he wasn't behind 4 other guys. 

Your second star selection is something many struggle to do around here. 
As for third star Osh, don’t forget keeping McCrae at returner and watching him break one for 48 yards, or seeing useless old Jake Thomas getting a sack in his 4th straight game. Troll Level - O(’Shea)

I had to chuckle at Suitor suggesting that Jones/Bane JR were elite,  that the OC for Saskatchewan is a young up and coming coordinator,  how VAJ is in the talks for MOP,  his love for Save-On Foods.... he was in fine form tonight!

Castillo is #5 at +4.5 points to expected.
Liegghio is #9 at -0.9 points to expected. Three missed converts and his average attempt for 29 yards is dragging him down. 

Castillo should have been Grey Cup MVP in 2021.
