Didn't they do that a while back when they killed TSN radio? Do they own anything else in Winnipeg?

I think people were asking for that as a way to encourage teams to develop Canadian QBs, but nothing came of it. Per the CFL.ca rules: Of the 45 players named to the roster, each team may dress an active roster of 45 players, broken down as follows: Maximum of 3 QBs (no designation) Maximum of 19 American players Minimum of 21 National players Including one nationalized American Minimum of 1 Global player **45th player would be an extra national or global player

Tre Ford being a Canadian doesn't provide any benefit as the QB position is a non-counter when it comes to the ratio.

Been sporting a Vega jersey for years and my wife just bought me a Wolitarsky one towards the end of the season last year. Usually end up with a new hat and or t-shirt every year, but I'm not a huge fan of the t-shirts that they've been selling the last few years (other than the plain blue with the white W on it).

I'm struggling with that list a little bit because I know that number 11 had no business being anywhere close to that list, nevermind being that high on it.

The endzones could still be blue because the soccer pitch fits between the goal lines at 110 yards.

Cadbury Mini Eggs have been in all of the stores since just after Halloween.

That guy's medical licenses needs to be revoked... but you know, Florida...

So it's a computer with computer programs on it?

But is she really owed $5,000,000 because of it?

Pretty sure I'm already paying them... I love the convenience and the general idea behind streaming services, but I hate the execution and how it's turned into just another version of cable.

They finally got the Grey Cup rematch to kick off the season right... that's good to see.

Like Walters said in his press conference, the goal when he became GM was to have the same kind of continuity and success that Calgary was seeing at the time. Huffnagel was coach with Dickensen in the wings... we have O'Shea as coach with Buck in the wings. Love the continuity that should keep us rolling to more successful seasons. At least Friesen is right once in a while... he can be obnoxious sometimes (alot of the time), but he's definitely not as bad as Ballsy.

So as a Rider fan, how do you feel about having him as the voice of your team?

That's the funniest part... goes to show how much of an "insider" he is when absolutely everything he posts is wrong.

You're kindof arguing your own point. Because of roster management, ie. not having the best possible guys out there or on the roster to rotate in, they weren't able to get the 2 and outs earlier in the game and were worn out by the end. The argument has always been that the roster management would cost us some games... as you point out in a later post, 5 out of 20 games sounds about right.

You grind out a win on defence by constantly forcing 2 and outs for the offence to come back on the field.

Or at least we hope they do.

Crypto and NFTs are all just a scam. Do some people get rich with them, sure, because they are scamming gullible people into buying into them.

46 Players and executives go on the cup. Because Dayna Spiring was the chair of the board at the time, she got her name on there.

I believe the estimate to move the rail yards was in the billions... I'm not sure how many, but it would take a lot to make that move happen.

Let's be honest... Hercules should never have been white in the first place, just like Jesus isn't white. Why is it a bad thing to allow representation in different forms. The people getting upset about characters being more diverse are the white people who feel that they are "losing power" and "being replaced". The complaint about anything being "woke" as a bad thing is absolutely ridiculous.

The reporters are able to vote for their own team players. The comment that DT made on WST about not getting to vote for the team award was about the initial round of voting where it was 4 members of the football reporters of Canada and the head coach in each market that puts players forward for consideration in each category.

I believe that Kelly won solely on his team's record... I would argue that they voted for him more as MVP rather than MOP, but I don't even think he was MVP on his team, I'd have given that to Leake for the great field position he provided for most of their games.

Yeah, that was confusing... in one sentence he said that Betts had a fantastic season, and the next he talked about how he played a great first game against Winnipeg and then disappeared in the other 3... How can you compare Betts who disappeared for 3+ games to Brady who was outstanding in every single game.
