i work with John rush's cousin and he just did a similar fundraiser.  I'm not sure if this needed a new thread but wasn't sure where else to put it.  The kid seems like a real character player and I'm hoping he sticks around in a special teams role

Well we'll also have that bizarre TD grab and great WSF performance to remember him fondly by.  Actually after that WSF game, I was excited to see what he could do this year if he reamined healthy. It was by far the first time he was living up to his potential last season. But it is what it is. Good luck Mr. Smith.

Tracker wasn't being serious. But you're right, they would never trade for him as a NI O-Lineman. That's exactly why he has been working out as a NI receiver. It would figure he'd be a shoe-in now.

It would be great for LaFrance to spend a year or 2 actually starting/playing to get that necessary in game experience to prove himself.  Not a chance he would get the reps here in Winnipeg behind Harris as he will likely get in Sask.  Let's hope he does well (but not vs us) and when his contract is up,  he comes home in a few years and takes over for Harris.  Could end up being a win win

Completely slipped my mind in the midst of all the craziness....yes, Nevis is the IMP to play next to Thomas. What we need now is a NI to rotate with JT...whether that's Butcher or whoever....we're good. No need for a big money NI just to rotate with JT...

This LaFrance deal (and literally everyone is reporting it, probably because it's more or less a done deal) is really going to depend entirely on the money for me.
If the Bombers get good value, I'm all for it. If they pay LaFrance what he wants, they're crazy.
He's had literally one good game and it was in a blizzard. I'm not interested in seeing us pay for that.

Maybe Edmonton is ready to move on from Reilly for 2018.  He's showing pretty significant signs of wear.
