The sequel to Homecoming is slated for 2019.  Tom Holland would no doubt play the role.  He's also scheduled for both Avengers films.  The actor remarked that a deal was being worked out with Sony for him to appear in Avengers.  Which leads me to wonder if the original agreement between Sony and Marvel was essentially a one-off.  Which strikes me as pretty stupid.  Why would Marvel help rehabilitate a Sony property and then not have a long term agreement to use the character?

I suspect the film will take place in the MCU even if it has no obvious ties to the MCU.  With many of the original Avengers probably moving on, Marvel surely wants Spider Man to continue in those films.

As I alluded to a while back in a post (or maybe I dreamt it.. too lazy to look back lol) it would be a favor for a favor.  Marvel wants the fantastic 4 and the silver surfer.  TBH I don't think Marvel really cares to to do the solo hero movies. They are all about the teams and the variety of personalities they bring to the table. IMO it's actually been a key component to their success vs other superhero movies.  They will obviously still do the solo movies like Captain America, Iron Man, Homecoming.. etc but those all (other then homecoming) seem to have been necessities in firing up the avengers - infinity wars..etc

**edit nvm I see 20th century fox owns FF and SS

This is a fake fan made trailer just FYI.

The video might be fan made but the movie is still green lit. Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams and Riz Ahmed (Rogue One) so far inked to star, directed by Ruben Fleischer.  Release date is pegged for Oct 5th 2018

Not a fan that Sony is putting out this movie,  but hopefully with McFarlane as one of the writers they can maintain some dignity to the character more then Spider-Man 3 provided

  3. That's too bad RIP Tom Petty. I was never really into him but he genuinely seemed like a cool dude and I know some people I went to school with met him and said he was crazy nice in person.  Ironic that when Prince died last year this video was fired up quite often,  seems like it should be making its rounds again for a different member of the performance

  4. Don't know if this will be much of a movie,  but I like Andy Gould who did a lot of movies with Rob Zombie such as House of 1000 corpses, the Devil's Rejects and the  Halloween's (remakes). Pretty nice looking cast including Denise Richards, Malcolm McDowell, Booboo Stewart (Warpath in X-Men: days of future past), Mark Boone Junior (Bobby Elvis on Sons of Anarchy), John Bradley (Sam Tully Game of Thrones), and a bunch of others like Sebastian Bach, Bill Dukes, Bill Goldberg.

Soundtrack is pretty heavy loaded too featuring: Deftones, Skid Row, The Pretty Reckless, In This Moment and pretty much spearheaded by Jonathan Davis so expect a lot of Korn and solo stuff

Anyways here's the trailer. I think i'll check it out on Kodi if for nothing more then all that I just mentioned but my expectations aren't very high

I disagree.  Does hotel security know what you're carrying when you check in?  Sure, if he clearly had an arsenal of weapons then someone should have been notified.  But its also Las Vegas.  Would it be that unusual for someone to have a gun case?  These weapons are legal.  Thats the problem.

They might be legal but Nevada AFAIK doesn't have a right to carry law in place so they can still enforce/act accordingly for the safety of their staff and patrons if they have/had proper screening of the stuff being brought in through their doors.

I haven't been to Vegas in about 18 years but I remember there being some pretty lax security when it comes to the lobbies and casinos. Like people can just walk in off the street and sit down without much in the way of door security. I'm sure it's changed a bit since but there should definitely be a little more indeptyh screening,  especially if people are checking into rooms.  What if the next guy doesn't come in with guns but explosives? will he also just be allowed to check in unchecked?

The thing is, the immediate reaction will be more security at hotels, make sure windows cant be opened etc.  But thats really not the solution.  Its like the answer to the Edmonton attack being banning trucks.

The issue is guns.  Period.  Guns guns guns.  That's the problem.  And while this guy could still attack people with a hunting rifle or hand gun, he aint picking off 50 from the 23rd floor with those weapons.  Take away these guns that have absolutely no reason for existence other then killing human beings.

As long as there is money to be had, both by gun dealers and governments it will never go away.  I also agree with Laurence Fishburne in Boyz in the Hood that they are also seen as a population control method as brutal as that sounds.

I agree though that Hotel security will come under fire which is probably should if someone can check in with an arsenal of weapons completely unchecked

  7. 10 guns... thats just ridiculous. Hotels are going to start needing airport level screening of luggage being brought in through their doors.  Don't think it would have stopped this guy from causing some chaos but maybe the death toll is vastly reduced without the angle in which he was able to mow people down.

What amazes me is that they were able to find this guy and kill him, with that many windows/hotels to be looking at it must have been tough to pin point his exact location

He is done for the year.  When he gets back to the city we are supposed to learn some details on the why.

Both he and Osh said they were hopeful he could make a return for the playoffs.  IMO and I know this won't go over well with some,  this was a cap saving move with some benefit in the long run - Westerman makes a triumphant return in week 20 for a rust shaker vs calgary then we head into the playoffs with a fresh Westerman all the while saving pretty significant $ during those absent 6 games.

If I'm close to the truth I actually approve the move and it's bout time we start doing what everyone else does, and that's take advantage of the IR that gets exploited like chimps in a diamond mine

Thing is, even if they aren't so **** hit you'd have a hard time saying the riders aren't 3rd best right now. Edmonton  and bc in free fall the east a giant steaming pile.... It's  a two horse race in the CFL right now

I thought power rankings were based on how teams to do for that specific week.  Sure they won (barely) but they didn't perform the 3rd best this week. 2 weeks in a row the riders have looked pretty mundane. Had they not squeeked out that win in Ottawa one could argue they are free falling too.  Their performance on Friday wouldn't beat most teams and could have easily gave Lindley his first cfl W

  10. I know this won't make the press but while driving towards winnipeg today down route 59 (I live in Ile Des Chenes) between the seine river and the floodway overpass there was a car on the side of the road with it's hazards on. I moved to the left lane in case someone suddenly jumped out of the vehicle but as i went by there was what appeared to be a big ass black moose on the side of the road dead.  Couldn't tell if the SUV had hit it or not, but after picking up my son and driving back it, and the car were still there.  2 mooses now in South Wpg within the last month.  are they coming up from minnesota?  Only moose I've ever seen in MB was in western MB - Riding mountain to be exact. I suppose there could be some in the whiteshell or maybe N. Ont but seems like a long trek to end up where they did

  11. don't know if I agree with the riders being 3rd.  They looked like hot garbage for 75% of the game vs a 3rd stringer and still only won by 1 (thanks to a rouge).  If this "power" is based on week to week performances I'd have put the riders near the bottom of the list all things considered and with the weapons they have/had.

IMHO the hamilton team that lost to the Argos in OT(as well as the argos) would have beat the riders that just played in Ottawa so they should be ahead of them.

DBs played Edmonton receivers a lot more aggressively and it seemed like the Edmonton receivers were stunned to a certain extent.  Like they thought the game would be a lot easier for them.

Bowman seemed disinterested when he was since on camera (rarely) as he was only targeted like once or twice.  I think he was gettin a little jealous that zylstra was getting all of reilly's love

  13. Harris has to get 1st star the guy was a workhorse out there all game

Randle gets star 2 for the pick 6

gotta give 3rd to the entire D. aside from Van being in at RB,  we were facing a healthy edmonton offense with reilly behind center and other then zylstra and walker a few times, made everyone else look pretty pedestrian

HH goes to Adams and that awesome TD catch

  14. As much as I don't like the riders I don't think there's a conspiracy. They sign a lot of players seemingly on the daily, but they are also releasing players just as much so it's a wash for the most part. I think tho they are getting closer to the cap limit with some of the signings like Knox jr and Foster lately when they guys they replaced can't be making more than league minimum (like ratelle for example). They've used the 6 game quite a bit.  I also believe the PR's expanded recently too,  so they are filling theirs up. I'm actually a little jelly and wondering why we aren't seeing more  of our own transactions

Sorry but that is big-time blue-coloured glasses.  Nichols is definitely near or at the top of the list for starters but Davis and LeFevour have done nothing noteworthy.  Bridge has played well and Glenn is right up there with Nichols as a starter this season.

Maybe if we were only looking at the last 2 games but we're not.  Nichols was **** against Calgary too.  Head-to-head is the best indicator and Nichols and Glenn have been about equal, with Nichols obviously getting 2 wins to Glenn's 1.... so I give the edge to Nichols but as a backup Davis has proven nothing while Bridge has a win under his belt and some pretty good numbers as well.  Any other opinion is just homerism.

LeFevour has a fever and the only cure is 3rd down gambles. The's guys been pretty clutch for us in that dept.  BUT FFS LAPO STOP LEAVING HIM IN TO BURN THE FOLLOWING 1ST DOWN  omfg i was saying to may dad at the game on fri aftewr he got the 1st down,  watch he'll be left in for 1st and 10 and get sweet f'all as he has all year, and sure enough exactly on queue

Collins was already here and got cut.  I see no reason to beat a dead horse and bring him back just to get cut again.

was he here or was he a mini camp cut who usually only get a very small window to show anything?  He seemed pretty decent when he played for the riders but the key word in that was when. Seemed to be a bit injury riddled and then buried on the depth chart. I just don't see walters/oshea going after him, it's too bad we no longer have thorpe
