    Hell in a Cell was great.  Loved the Sami Zayn swerve at the end.  Usos vs New Day was awesome.  I will definitely be tuning into Smackdown tonight.

    Oh yeah....... The Shield is back!!!!

    Gotta say, I wasn't a big fan of the shield the first time,  but this move is better for Reigns IMO.  Now they just need to reform the bullet club with Balor, Gallows and Anderson and they can set up a story between the 6 men cuz I'm pretty bored with the Wyatt/Balor story already - I think it's more Bray's same shtick every single feud is getting tiresome.

    On a side note how many freakin times did Cole call the shield the hounds of justice last night.  what a stupid name and over kill of it to boot

  2. It was just a bad game in which we saw our starting QB go down half way through (at the time 6 points down) throw it out with the thrash and move on. 1 loss ain't the end of the world and deserving of anyone being fired.

    IMO it just showed us exactly what happens if we lose Nichols for any significant time and it ain't good.  Our D stopped the Ticats several times in a row on 2 and outs and our offense just gave the ball back going 2 and out too. I'm sure by the 4th our D was tired AF. Again erase this game from the memory banks and move forward. It is what it is. Still 10-4.

    I have Pierce and Willy jerseys that I didn't get much use out of.  That being said my next jersey will prolly be Nichols.

    I have a Harris that I haven't worn all year as I'd been wearing a Brock jersey and the team has been playing well at home so I didn't want to change it up. I think I'll sport my Harris for the rest of the season however as he goes for 1000 / 1000.

    Adams would be another good choice. He's under contract for another 2 years.

    given the fate of the the other 2 mentioned i'd highly advise against a nichols! don't you do it! we need him!

    My jersey is 8-1 since I bought it so it must be a gooder.  only time I didn't wear it (was working) was our loss at the LDC. I'll take full responsibility for that loss :(

  4. I dunno why everyone gets caught up on title. Like being called a mass murderer isn't any lighter/heavier then being called a terrorist. Both are out to inflict deadly harm to the general public and are 110% grade A asshats. IMO the titles used are a way to try and keep the masses at bay in murica. If you say mass murder everyone kind of shrugs as it seems to happen more often then it should. You say terrorism and they gonna build a wall for the wall

    It will be a really good thing if we never have see another quarterback for another 5-7 years.

    I would rather be in positions of such leads we get a better feel for what we have in Davis sooner then later (perhaps when the seasons locked up).  The last thing I would want is to be in a similar situation to the  Adrian McPherson one in Montreal where for years we were sitting on a dud and then left empty handed when the starter was no longer around

  6. yeah H. Jon Benjamin doesn't look like who I thought (guilty of picturing something like Archer... maybe a Jon Hamm type)

    Then there's his kid Gene on Bob's Burgers (who also voices Cheryl Tunt's brother Cecil on Archer) Eugene Mirman who looks exactly as you'd picture him;

    Here's his characters;

    and the man himself

    Bob's Burgers is such an underrated show

    I admit when the show first aired, I wasn't a fan of the animation and didn't give it a chance. I somehow ended up watching a few episodes and it was pretty good.  Plus I'm a fan of the voice actors that do Bob and Gene cuz they are both in Archer.

    Funny thing about Bob's Burgers is the mom and the oldest daughter are voiced by guys. I remember when it became widely know Bart Simpson was voiced by a woman it was such a shock to a lot of kids at the time

    Bizarre signing period.  When was the last time a QB that plays more like a RB had any success in the CFL?  They could save some money by cutting him before he gets on the airplane.

    well it did say he played 16 games as a WR... maybe Lapo wants to run more of those Lankford tosses but wants a QB that can catch - though to Nichols credit he does have the 1 reception for a TD last year . Imagine a QB that can get downfield in a hurry from the snap and catch a deep ball...

  9. Trade deadline is 1 week away, so thought it would be fun to see what people would do if you were GM and looking to shore up a couple spots for the season.

    I think at this point the 2 main teams that would be sellers would be Hamilton and Montreal.   Only 2 players I'd be interested from the Ticats would be Simoni Lawrence or Larry Dean

    Montreal on the other hand I would like Ernest Jackson. Don't think it's a good fit for him there,  and a Adams/Jackson 1-2 punch excites me

    What I would give up on the other end... maybe some mid round draft picks - Walters has done a good job stocking the cupboards,  we can afford a lackluster draft one of these years I think.  Maybe one of Poop or Nevis - NOT that I'd want to see either one go, but it's assets that we current can afford

    thats my choice right there.. surprised he isn't getting more love from the faithful here..  I'm hoping hes in blue and gold for his career.

    I'm rocking a Loffler jersey at games... when I see others with loffler jerseys tho i give them an evil look.  so if anyone sees a good looking dude giving you the stink eye for wearing a Loffler jersey... come say hello!

    I enjoyed watching some of the games, that were broadcast last season, live on youtube.

    I'm sure the games are somewhat enjoyable in itself. I watched the AFL championship last year and it wasn't half bad, but still waaaay prefer actual field football.  Maybe it's just the look of that turf in the highlight clip but it looked funny and off. waaay to tiny for my liking

    I'm not so sure about that... I still have confidence that he'll make a big kick in a big situation... but he is 5th or 6th in kicking % right now...

    It will definitely come down to a kicker. Other then Finch or Jackson in TO the big returns seem down this year vs years past.  Medlock might be 5th or 6th in % but he's also kicking the longest FGs, multiple game winners and the only person who has made more FGs then him is Parades but I give Medlock the nod over him because medlock also does all other kicking duties

  13. So Trent Richardson is going to make his debut this week vs the Argos.  It got me thinking of when Ricky Williams came to the CFL and got completely shut down like it was a statement for opposing D's. Could this be another case of that? Is this potentially why a lot of NFL washouts don't do so well up here as well? That opposing teams target them specifically and make it a point to show that the talent in the CFL can go toe to toe with the "big names"?

    If this is the case in some instances, I wonder if it's actually a negative thing to try and sign these washouts. You can't ignore the talent,  but it might not matter if you're fueling your opposing teams ambition and drive...

  14. depending on who we nominate (Nichols for MOP for example) Harris is almost a certainty to win COY at the very least.  And despite a bad game last week, Medlock should still be the favorite for MOSTP,  We could very well win OLOY as well.

    Not sure who we will nominate for DPOY (Leggett maybe? Randle?) or ROY (Walker?) but I don't think we have a shot in those 2 categories IMO

    It makes sense for them to do a long term deal where Sony distributes or whatever and Marvel handles creative, thus reuniting all the Sony marvel characters under the MCU (at Marvel's discretion).

    Trying to spin off a Spidey universe without Spiderman makes little sense.  They'll get a bump from the revitalization of Spider Man (thanks Marvel!) but ultimately it will subscribe to the laws of diminishing returns because how can you go far with Venom without eventually including Spiderman?

    I wonder if there's an end game for Marvel,  where if they let these companies continue to spit out garbage, they will be forced to sell back the property as it just doesn't make them any money (anymore).  The difference between "the amazing spider man" movies vs Homecoming is night and day  and really Sony should just cut the cord.  They probably bought the property relatively cheap back in 1985 when superhero movies were pure **** and could probably sell it back to marvel for like a billion
