this game is literally equal importance to me as winning the Grey Cup. Just this one. I'm sick and tired of losing LDC and I want the last one at that crap hole they call a stadium.

His attitude is a big part of the problem. He needs to go along with all the crappy O-Line players he has supported and helped bring to the team in the last 3 years. The fact that he remains and has done next to nothing to improve an O-Line that got 3 quarterbacks seriously injured in less than a half season of football epitomizes all that is wrong with the Bomber organization.
Not buying the BS that the majority of the sacks are the fault of the running backs blocking. Let's turn that around. It's his fault and his line's fault if the RB's are consistently put in a position where they can't be successful either in terms of running or blocking. Ultimately Bombers have shown themselves to be disgustingly bad in terms or protection and the run game for many years. Excuses are not what is needed.
If this team gave half of a rat's back end about the quality of product that shouldn't happen.
 

The last game played at Taylor Field will be the most important game in the history of the stadium. The end of a era. The memories of days gone by will be missed. Children growing up and going to games and learning about the game we love. My dad died yesterday morning, he was 84, and a lifelong Rider fan. I remember him taking me to the games in the early 70's. I didn't understand what the Riders were about then but knew it must be a big deal as he would get so mad when we would lose. I'm pretty sure he thought the CFL should have folded when Lancaster retired. He was mad to his last day that we changed our uniforms from the originals. That is what pride is, that is what tradition is, fathers and sons passing the torch of fandom. I take my kids to Taylor field now and embrace every second of it. You either get that man or you don't. I don't think I could explain it any better. Fans of another team have no reason to care about rivals stadiums, but those fans should understand why said stadium means the world to those fans. We'll make new memories in the new stadium, some good, and some bad, it will just take time till it feels like home.

Oh, totally! I went to my first Labour Day game in '04 with 4 friends and we easily found 5 good seats together. In August! After that Grey Cup there has been a huge change.

But..but.. everybody wants to play in SSK. It's Canada's team , the heart of the league, best fans in the universe - you can live the rest of your life there.

I'd be perfectly fine with Bucknor starting over Nuef....Bucknor while not always a shut down DB has proven he can make the plays when he has too. And It wouldn't need to be just JFG, we also have Waggoner, Corney, Richards...all 3 are expected to be in the mix this year. Despite what Ripper says. Our Depth is much better than the riders. Don't let his green coloured glasses fool you. I'm not saying we have 15 starting calibre CND's either. so don't get your panties in a bunch. But our Depth goes well beyond Hurl, Bucknor and JFG.

Jovon Johnson? really? come on people, he was washed up when we let him go and that hasn't changed. Yeah he might have made a couple plays against Winnipeg but so what? At this point in his career he's not worth wasting time on. 

You can't avoid signing a Canadian because there's a huge drop off in talent anytime he gets hurt. There's a huge drop off in talent any time anyone gets hurt, that's why the starters start and the backups don't.

That's probably one of the reason why the Bombers are starting 8 Canadians.
 
Historically, LaPo's offense has a good running game, with a proven RB like Harris it can only be good.
 
 
 

I've spoken with him a few times and he's a really nice, intelligent guy. Much more so than Wade in my opinion.
