Seems like a good trade for both trades, at least on paper. The Riders are pretty deep at INT receiver and could use the NAT O-line depth. Dyakowski is likely a stop gap based on his age, IMO.

Typical arrogant bomber fan. Doesn't even know the full story and making assumptions. Not surprised.

Almost the same as the golden boy Bo levi, I say give him another year in this offense with better receivers and we'll see.
Not to mention starting week 1 this season, instead of waiting five weeks watching Willy trying to execute an offense he couldn't seem to grasp.

Google Chrome's Incognito feature is great for getting past some of those walls like the WFP has.

He's just genuinely fun to watch. That mountain of a man has a set of wheels on him. When he run-blocks down the field it looks like he's swatting away children in pursuit of a speeding ice cream truck.
Kinda goes without saying when it comes good players.
Needless to say, he's been one hell of an asset to the O-line. Super happy he's a Bomber.

It's worth a lot imo. He was brought in to compete at OT and made the team at that position. His move to OG has been very successful, but in a pinch I think it's been clearly demonstrated he is a capable OT.
Bond was an excellent find last year. Not only is he a mountain of a man, he plays gritty and has shown to be pretty versatile.

Maybe the novelty of a new stadium...
Eh... I don't think that plays a factor. Look at the 2013 Blue Bombers. Beautiful new stadium, sellout crowds, loud as hell... and one home win.

The wave might be for the kids but the smell when 25k plus riders fans raise their arms is horrendous. Regina stinks bad enough as it is so I applaud this move. ?
Applause to you, sir.

If Apodaca is any good when the lights come on I hope we 6 game him from a nasty case of hangnailitis rather than PR him and have Jones and his greasy hands try and poach another decent prospect QB off us like he did with Bennett. I have a feeling the riders will be in dire need of putting out a QB tire fire by LDC and would certainly not like to help them
How did Jones poach Bennett?

You can do that....but you'd be wrong.......he's worth a roster spot, for sure.
At the right price. And only if there's no other depth. I'd say the Bombers are getting to a point where he may no longer be required.

I don't have any clue why anyone thinks a Kevin Glenn/Vince Young combination is going to be a plus .500 team.
I can't even deny it - the rest of their roster looks pretty good. I like a lot of their pieces. Their receivers are ridiculous, they've got a stud DE in Willie Jefferson, I like the looks of their OL for the most part and I think their secondary will surprise people.
But they don't have a ****ing quarterback and that's really not something you can discount at all. On top of that, they don't have a stud RB to take any pressure off their mediocre QBs either.
They're going to be dead in the water. I see them winning 6 games at most.
Glenn playing the entire season could give them 6-7 wins, IMO. A Glenn-led offense in Riderville this season looks not too dissimilar (on paper, anyway) from last year's Alouettes' offense, not to mention he's also a year older. The Riders' backfield is certainly a question mark as well, but I do like the addition of Cam Marshall. It goes without saying but the health of their O-line will be crucial.
Defensively, they have some nice pieces and I think that'll be the team's relative strength. Losing Cox hurts them, though.
6-12 seems realistic, 8-10 seems optimistic. As long as they go 0-3 vs. the blue and gold.

The Bombers would have hosted. If the Bombers had won both the Bombers and Ticsts would have finished 8-10 but we would have won the season series.
Right you are. Forgot about that part.

Everything but the football game itself was pretty good. Oh, and the boat.

I also recall Mike Kelly's apparent trainwreck of a team finishing 1 win short of hosting a playoff game. It was a bad season, no doubt about it... but despite everything we were in the hunt til the end.
IIRC, the 2009 team needed to win the last game of the season to make the playoffs and avoid the Lions from crossing over to the East.
The Bombers wouldn't have hosted a home playoff game, though. They would've still finished third in the East.

Will they, though...? It's been decades and if there's one thing politicians demonstrate well, it's that they never learn.
